Have a little faith, guys.

Faith is above reason, not contradictory to it -- and being on top of a notable hill during a period when it very well may be much wiser to be out of sight is not the best of circuмstances.  That said, what will be will be, and all will be according to God's holy will :)

Hate to disagree  GV but the best circuмstances would be anywhere near the Blessed Sacrament, your right however, "what will be will be, and all will be according to God's holy will :)"  DEFINITELY!

IMO, things will get too rough (once things really come unglued) for the Blessed Sacrament to be safely kept in places like the Mount.

I don't see priests being able to stay where they now reside, or even go about their normal business in an open manner.

You may be right about that, and in that case if it gets that bad here who cares about the garden at that point.

My opinion for what its worth is, that God worked a wonder when He allowed CMRI to even acquire such a property as the Mount, unlike any other group I know of.  There has to be a reason for that, since I don't believe in coincidences and several times already CMRI came close to losing the Mount, but always won out.

Every time I read this verse in the Apocalypse I see Mount St. Michaels: Apocalypse Chapter 12, 6; "And the women (Church) fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that there they may nourish her a thousand two hundred and sixty days."

If you continue the read it tells how St. Michael overcomes the Devil.

Father Denis R.I.P. would say, that the nations where Jesus placed His holy feet and walked the soil, the places where the Church was raised to the highest and now have fallen will be the places most punished.  The nations that never had the Truth will be the wilderness.

None of this is de fide, just my humble belief.

The winters where we are have been mild less a week or so of very cold temp.

That's quite relative!

We had a cold winter this year in that for a whole day the temperature didn't climb above freezing. Obviously that's laughable for a Canadian, but we plant plenty of things here counting on only a handful of overnight freezes.

Winter is over here for the time being as our high tomorrow is 80.

Anyone can adjust to living in a cold climate, but why? Is it even preferable? The main problem here is securing a reliable source of water, but we're not exactly in a desert (contrary to the stereotypical image of TX), so it certainly can be done.
