  • So, consider the following:

-The St. Malachy prophecy concludes his line of popes up until Pope Francis.  And it's sometime around now that God comes to judge the world
-Pope Francis has been referred to as an anti-pope
-Pope Francis will have served as pope for approximately 3.5 years up at the time that the 100-year anniversary of the 3rd Secret of Fatima's release.

    Now, check out this article:

Do you think that Pope Francis could actually be the False Prophet of the Tribulation?

Pope Francis Prophetic Year Of Mercy- Prepare Wisely In 2016 Because 2017 Is When Divine Wrath Will Be Poured Out On The Earth

by Andrew Bieszad on January 2, 2016 in General

In the 4th century BC, the island of Sicily was ruled by the tyrant Dionysius II. According to legend, a courtier named Damocles was lavishing praise upon Dionysius when the tyrant made a startling proposal to Damocles. He said that he would allow Damocles to serve as ruler in his place and allow him to partake of all the luxuries of his court on two conditions. The first was that Damocles would sit in his throne, and the second was that directly above Damocles’ head there was to be hung a large, finely sharpened sword supported by nothing more than a horse’s hair for thread. After a short while, Damocles returned the throne to Dionysius, having realized that great power and wealth come with equally great responsibility, and it is only a hair’s breadth away from being irreparably lost.

I have retold this story because America and literally, the rest of the world is living under Damocles’ sword today. Never has there been such power, such wealth, such opportunity and prosperity than ever before in human history. At the same time, never also has there been such a evident warning signs of a great and impending catastrophe.

I don’t need to recount details at too much length because the signs are all around us. Europe is facing a cινιℓ ωαr and the real possibility of her ethnic and cultural extinction on account of the massive Muslim invasion taking place today. Turkey is attempting to give birth to a new Ottoman Empire with the purpose of preparing the way for the Muslim Messiah and exterminating Christianity from the Earth. To make matters worse, Christianity is in a state of disarray. In the United States, the economy is collapsing and has been for some time, but so also is the entire world. This must have been something of how the world looked on the verge of World War I- except this time it would be World War III.

But I do not believe that 2016 will be the year in which all these events culminate in a catastrophe of Biblical proportions. Sure, certain things will happen and the situation in the world will deteriorate, but I do not believe that 2016 is the year. Why, you ask, would I make such a statement?

Several years ago I was a volunteer CCD teacher. One of the most memorable lectures I gave my 6th grade class was about God’s love. It was a lecture that I continued to give throughout the year, as I wanted to drive the message into them because for many of these students I was their only teacher about the Faith. While I won’t go through everything the lecture went something like this:

-God is Love (1 John 4:8)

-God is perfect, and therefore God is perfect Love.

-Perfect Love contains in in absolute mercy and absolute justice

-Therefore, perfect Love must perfectly merciful and perfectly just.

I often gave this lecture alongside a picture of Dutch Painter Rogier Van Der Weyden’s The Last Judgment:

My point was well received. God is perfect Love, and He naturally demands perfect obedience to Him. We are sinners, but He offers us perfect mercy, and if we do not accept His perfect mercy, we will merit His perfect- and final -justice.

I have made it very clear from my articles that I do not like what Pope Francis is doing. He is doing things that are many times at the very least questionable, and too often things that are manifestly heretical. That said, Pope Francis is still the Pope. Nobody ever said that a leader had to be a good leader (although that is certainly preferable), but he is still the elected leader of the Church.

The Liturgical (Church) calendar for the Catholic Faith begins with Advent and ends with the feast of Christ the King, which is the day before Advent begins. Pope Francis declared that 2016 would be the year of mercy. There has never, ever been a “year of mercy” ever prescribed in the Church. For this year of mercy, Pope Francis has allowed parish priests to perform certain faculties reserved only to the bishop and sometimes, the Pope himself. How interesting that it falls at such a time when the world is falling to chaos!

But that reminded me of another very important Catholic prophecy from the early 20th century

Sr. Faustina Kowalska of Poland, now St. Faustina Kowalska, was canonized by Pope John Paul II as the “apostle of divine mercy.” In short, she was a young Polish Nun who received visions of Jesus for many years. The messages that she received were understood as a continuation and development of revelations from St. Mary Alacoque and Bl. Josefa Menendez about the Sacred Heart of Jesus and how Jesus’ infinite love and mercy flows from His Most Sacred Heart. One might say that St. Faustina’s visions are the culmination of these revelation that had been building up since the 17th century.

The Divine Mercy message, as much as it is very comforting to know about how merciful Jesus is, also comes with a strong warning- not only that those who refuse to accept His mercy will necessarily merit His justice, but that the message of divine mercy given by Jesus to St. Faustina is a time of mercy and preparation for the ushering in of God’s just wrath and the final judgment, as she recorded in her diary:

You will prepare the world for My final coming. (Diary 429)

Speak to the world about My mercy … It is a sign for the end times. After it will come the Day of Justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fountain of My mercy.  (Diary 848)

Tell souls about this great mercy of Mine, because the awful day, the day of My justice, is near. (Diary 965).

I am prolonging the time of mercy for the sake of sinners. But woe to them if they do not recognize this time of My visitation. (Diary 1160)

Before the Day of Justice, I am sending the Day of Mercy. (Diary 1588)

He who refuses to pass through the door of My mercy must pass through the door of My justice. (Diary 1146).

DIVINE MERCY ALWAYS PRECEEDS DIVINE JUSTICE

Pope Francis’ declaration of 2016 being the year of divine mercy is also very interesting as it falls exactly one year before the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Fatima. For those who have never heard of it, and which I will be writing about in an upcoming article, Mary the Mother of God appeared to three Portuguese children and told them three secrets about terrible things to come. The third secret has never been revealed publicly (although some have seen it, including Pope Benedict XVI), but from what many have alluded to, it seems to refer to the destruction of the world by fire and the rise of the Antichrist:

This will be the time of the decisive battle between the Blessed Virgin and the devil. A wave of diabolical disorientation will be hurled over the world. Satan will introduce himself even to the highest summit of the Church. He will blind the minds and harden the hearts of pastors. And God will deliver them to themselves as a chastisement for their refusal to obey the requests of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This will be the great apostasy predicted for the ‘last times’; ‘the False Lamb’ and ‘False Prophet’ will betray the Church to the profit of ‘the Beast,’ according to the prophecy of the Apocalypse.”

Much of this seems to be conditional, however upon the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary:

“I shall come to ask for the Consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart…If people attend to My requests, Russia will be converted and the world will have peace.”

While reading this, one must keep in mind that the message of Fatima is considered by the Church to be the most significant revelation in modern times.

There are many Catholics, including myself, who do not believe that Russia was ever consecrated. Several years after these original revelations, one of the children, Lucia dos Santos, who became a nun, said had the following vision from Mary:

“Later on, by means of an interior communication, Our Lord complainingly said to me: ‘They did not want to heed My request. Like the King of France they will repent and do so, but it will be late. Russia will already have spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The Holy Father will have much to suffer’!”

To put things in context, June 17th, 1689 was the day that Jesus told St. Margaret Mary Alacoque to tell the King of France to consecrate France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  It was never done, and exactly 100 years later on that same day, June 17th, 1789, the French National Assembly voted to strip the King of His power in the act that would begin the French revolution. He tried to consecrate France, but it was too late, and the King was beheaded and France became the godless state which it still is today.

A traditional illustration showing the union of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with the Immaculate Heart of Mary

God wanted France consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, it was not done in the 100 year time frame, and that nation fell to pagan tyranny. God now wants Russia consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for the sake of the whole world, and it has been 99 years and the consecration still has not been done.

Damocles’ sword uneasily hangs over the world’s head.

Make use of this Divine Mercy as much as you can this year. Next year may be the year of Divine Justice.

  • Divine Mercy devotion was condemned by Pope Pius XII and brought back by none other than John Paul II. About other things, yes, it could be a chastisement in 2017 - 100th anniversary of Fatima, but on the other hand Fatima promises Consecration of Russia (which, as Shoebat says, has not been done) and period of peace, why Malachi's Prophecy predicts Last Judgment in few years - these two seem to be contradictory. In any case, pray!
