That's not bad.  I already have a Ruger 10/22, the takedown model.   Good basic .22 rifle.  I'd recommend it to anyone.

I got an sr-22 when they first came out. I’ve heard mixed reviews but I guess I got lucky I’ve had 0 troubles with it. I’ve shot subsonic to the newer defense loads in it, even the poly coated stuff and it’s been awesome. I lack a good semi auto rifle though. :fryingpan: I’ve been looking at the vulquartsen stuff for a longtime. It’s amazing you can spend anywhere from 300-3000 on a 10-22. If I had just bought the base model I’d have it together by now. I have an old break action savage 22/410 I’ve had since a kid.  I can’t believe it still works. I think I’m the only firearm collector that lacks a 10-22.

I have several.  They're fun to shoot, and they're cheap to shoot.
