  • Very cool, but his secret is out of the bag now.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • I wonder whether that joinery would not move over time and the hinges give a little so that there were gaps that would look strange and catch the eye of a burglar.

New it looks great, but give it five years and the expansion and contraction of the wood might give the game away.

    It's a great idea and well-designed and well-executed.  With a little
maintenance, provided the wood is properly sealed with a durable
sealer, it should continue to work well for a lifetime, maybe more.

However, you can be pretty sure this video is being shown in PDs
and inspector training programs.  So it's no longer a secret.

Bomb-sniffing dogs would be all over the ammo storage, and no
lightweight magnetic catches are going to be a match for crowbars
    and axes.

As for the "entire safe was stolen" that only happens when the safe
isn't securely attached by a concealed anchor.  But even a safe is
subject to detection from the sensitive nose of a trained dog.
