It's a great idea and well-designed and well-executed. With a little
maintenance, provided the wood is properly sealed with a durable
sealer, it should continue to work well for a lifetime, maybe more.
However, you can be pretty sure this video is being shown in PDs
and inspector training programs. So it's no longer a secret.
Bomb-sniffing dogs would be all over the ammo storage, and no
lightweight magnetic catches are going to be a match for crowbars
and axes.
As for the "entire safe was stolen" that only happens when the safe
isn't securely attached by a concealed anchor. But even a safe is
subject to detection from the sensitive nose of a trained dog.
