I'm turning on my cellphone-that-makes-popcorn-pop to read the rest of this one.

  • The flashes of light are plain to see in the videos.

WHY would a naturally-occurring earthquake cause an Aurora Borealis and/or flashes of light in the sky during the event?

Are you suggesting that HAARP is just the overactive imagination of some nutjob several years ago?

    Then WHY WON'T IT DIE?

There is too much evidence for it. Just for starters, the government has the
    Means
    Motive
    Opportunity

PLUS a history of doing dastardly deeds in the past (human experimentation, development of atom bomb, etc.)

I, for one, believe HAARP exists and is used to modify the weather, and cause earthquakes.

  • You see, Vandaler, I am a TRADITIONAL Catholic, which gives me a unique perspective on the world.

I see a world that has largely fallen away from God, a world that is high on pride (like mankind before the Flood, and before the Tower of Babel was built)

Not assuming anything about you, but traditional Catholics believe (for instance) in the literal truth of the Bible. Not all Novus Ordo Catholics do. They are often very unfamiliar with the Bible.

Modern man does all SORTS of things that are proven to be true (genetically modified food, cell phones, cancer-causing vaccines, dangerous food additives, fluoride in the water, abortion, stem cell research, dumping poison in the environment, etc. etc.)

Some just show a disregard for human beings, others are evidence of a demonic pride that wants to exalt itself up in the place of God.

  • I'm not arguing anymore, there's no point.

I'll just point out the obvious... you'll believe anything... really anything if only it matches your perspective of the world.  You don't analyse a statement for it's merit but rather, compare it with how well it flatters your biases.

Also, you'll find many TRADITIONAL Catholics who would take exceptions with your extreme views.

  • WHY would a naturally-occurring earthquake cause an Aurora Borealis and/or flashes of light in the sky during the event?

    Quote
Eduardo Ravani Jr. was photographing a wedding reception early Saturday at Las Terrazas dela Reina on the hills overlooking Santiago, Chile, when the party disc jockey told him: "Hey, I think the building is moving."

What started as a slow shake grew into a relentless rumble, knocking Ravani off his feet as screaming guests streamed outside. When Ravani made it outside, he saw five women had fainted to the ground. The bride and groom huddled in a tight embrace, the bride crying. Beyond, bright flashes leapt like lightning from exploding power transformers in the city below.

The Japan earthquake was a daytime event.

The Aurora Borealis (not really) were not caused by the earth quake. They were 7 hours before the earth quakes... the sunsets at 20:22 in Satiago at the end of february and the earthquake was at 3:34 in the morning of the following night.

  • Finally Matthew, if you believed if was HAARP, why did you post an article that rather implicates the notion of sunspots.

How do you tie all this together ?

All lacking logical foundation.  The quakes are a direct action of God, not the action of the American government.  Sometimes Americanism goes too far in the opposite direction.

The lights in the footage are probably caused by the camera being jarred so much by the quake itself, or (if they really are lights in the sky) caused by fire or explosions that occurred during the quake.

You're one of those people who act real laid back about these worldly things. To you, it's just another one of those "conspiracy theories". Jamie is right that the event was a punishment from God, but God allowed HAARP to mess with the atmosphere or climate or whatever and it caused the event. Also, if you look at the HAARP charts right before Hurricane Katrina and the 2010 Haiti quake, the levels on the charts were extremely high and then mysteriously leveled off after the events took place.

The nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr is here, and believe it or not the government can altar the atmospheric conditions. It's something that they use to help promote their ridiculous global warming hoax.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

    Sp.,

Leaving aside HAARP for a minute, can you explain how atmosphere and climate causes earthquakes ?

I suppose the nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr magic occurs in that mysterious and vacuous space left by your whatever above.

  • 1). The idea that the US government could build an antennae array more powerful than the sun is ludicrous.

2). Radio waves do not move tectonic plates.

    1. Who said it was more powerful than the sun? It's right here on earth, so it isn't dissipated for 93 million miles before it hits the mark.

    2. They're not borrowing a radio station's broadcast antenna. It's about using specific frequencies which cause the tectonic plates to resonate, and using enough power.

One man (a geologist) was interviewed saying that he used radio waves and only 40 watts of power to locate oil. It would resonate or give feedback that his equipment could pick up and interpret as "oil" or "natural gas", etc.

He pointed out that they managed to do this with only a few dozen watts. He said, "What if we used a lot more power?  Well, if you used enough, it would even cause an earthquake."

He seemed to this it was quite possible, and he was a geologist working for an oil company.
