  • Today at Wal-mart the entire gas can selection was cleared out -- and this was at the Schertz Wal-mart, which is 20 min. from San Antonio.

Yesterday, we saw an SUV with 5 or 6 [5 gallon] gas cans strapped to the bumper, heading in the direction of Houston. One of the cans was yellow, and one was blue. Those are supposed to be used for kerosene and diesel, but apparently a can is a can when there are shortages!

  • Yes... I dare say things are about to get interesting... Of course "about" might be a bit longer for a nation than for individuals, but...

  • I remember years ago when there was a gas shortage, people started storing gas in cans, and it caused many accidental fires and deaths.

Be careful even driving too close to any vehicles you see carrying gas in cans.
    Please pray for my soul.

  • People shouldn't be shopping at World-Wart anyway.

Their billionaire-family owners are shallow, cheap Americanists who live by the almighty dollar and treat their workers like garbage.

World-Wart also gives employee benefits to "spouses" of fαɢɢօts; they probably subsidize abortion, too.

There's a hardware store in my town that has been privately owned for nearly 40 years.

I would buy things I don't even need or know how to use from that store before I would take a free shopping spree from the greedy scuм at World-Wart.

Remember that the Chinese-factory-made shirt you pay $8 for in their lousy stores cost them less than $0.50 cents a piece to wholesale from the manufacturers, who are running slave-holds in their country. People working 16-hour shifts under horrific conditions are being paid PENNIES an hour.

World-Wart is absolutely emblematic of the Godless, live-for-this-world ethic that sprung from the so-called "enlightenment" period. Those stores are geared towards grossly humanistic capitalism of the worst kind, and the fact that they market themselves as a paragon of self-deterministic, heretical Protestant "Gawd, Famlah and 'Murka" jingoism is enough to guarantee that any Catholic shopping there is participating in their rejection of Catholic truth and Catholic social ethos.

    Kyrie eleison.

St. Vincent De Paul, servant of the poor, pray for us and for those who are exploited in the name of profits.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
This evil of heresy spreads itself. The doctrines of godliness are overturned; the rules of the Church are in confusion; the ambition of the unprincipled seizes upon places of authority; and the chief seat [the Papacy] is now openly proposed as a rewar

  •  :dancing-banana:You can't exist in the US, or most of the world without at least remote connection to evil.  Avoid what you can.  Offer up the rest.

If I'd have purchased a few gas cans and filled them this time last year, they'd have come in handy in the aftermath of Sandy.  Or I could have sold them for a tidy sum.  Sounds like a great idea!

You just described most department stores.   Macy's penneys etc charge even more money for these clothes made by the same by poor people.   Designer man made boots $60 dollars made in china.

  • More people in china died from apple products.   The work conditions were so bad that the workers were committing ѕυιcιdє by jumping out the windows.

Why pick on Walmart when all these American companies including designer and houte couture.  $30,000 pocketbook made in china.  That is disgusting and evil.

  • Why pick on World-Wart?

Because neither you, I nor anyone else are shopping at the "haute couture" boutiques and spending $30,000 on anything.

Those designer boutiques, FYI, are owned by and patronized by the SAME PEOPLE who run the economic and political structure in this country. The JєωMason billionaires aren't going to give up their uber-capitalist, manifest-destiny crap that they believe in; they don't compete in the "game", they INVENTED the game. They OWN that game.

    Why pick on World-Wart?

Because it's World-Wart and stores like them (but they are the WORST by far) that are being shoved down the throats of the consumers in the US, from the most comfortably middle-class all the way down to the poorest of the poor.

World-Wart spends hundreds of millions of dollars a year advertising how much "good" they do for communities; they create jobs, people can save money by buying Commie-industry-fueled disposable garbage, etc.

World-Wart receives more federal tax breaks and business subsidies than ANY OTHER ENTITY IN THE COUNTRY. More than schools/colleges, more than hospitals, more than any charity organization, more than any other private corporation. More than ANYONE.

Yet, they are the highest-grossing retail corporation EVER. IN HISTORY.

They don't need any of their tax breaks; they don't need any subsidies to help them afford to build stores, yet they get all that help because it is precisely what the JєωMason cabal wants you to see:

"World-Wart does so much good for people, we just HAVE to give them every little bit of help we can so that they can keep on epitomizing the Murkin Dream!"

Yes, the JєωMason ideal, the 'American Dream', is, just as it was in the days of the so-called Pilgrims, to make their billions on the backs of slaves, cooperating with their Communist friends in China, India and other places who provide them with the chattel-slaves to do the labor.

Then they slap the names of JєωMason 'celebrities' on the items they pay pennies to manufacture and they watch as the mindless sheeple of the Murkin public snap the stupid stuff up almost faster than it can be made.

It used to be that stores that couldn't AFFORD the products (especially things like toys) from major American makers used to sell imported or at least off-brand-American discount versions.

Now, World-Wart not only sells EVERY major brand of toy out there, they ALSO have the discount aisle where their "store brands" are sold as cheaper alternatives. And people STILL grab it all up.

Why pick on World-Wart? Because if there's a symptom of Murkin-ism, a sign that people are Godless and totally uncaring about His justice and the duty of nations to serve Him, if there's ONE thing that could be pointed to which represents the depths to which unrepentant man will sink in order to "eat, drink and be merry" in this life, it's the phenomenon of World-Wart.

It would not surprise me if Sam Walton was accorded a very special blue-and-yellow-themed space in Hell right after he faced the Judgment of Almighty God and the condemnation of the saints who gave their every effort to truly serve the poor and the heathen in lands foreign to them.

St. Vincent de Paul, pray for us.

St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us.

St. Ignatius de Loyola, pray for us.

Blessed Junipero Serra, pray for us.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

  • And FYI, I don't shop at department stores unless I have to, and I NEVER shop at World-Wart.

We buy 80% or better of our clothing secondhand, and we have thrifted or free-cycled almost everything we own.

I'm not saying we don't EVER shop at corporate stores; that would be lying.

What I AM saying is that there is a hierarchy of culpability for crimes against humanity AND sins against God's Law and Divinely-ordained social order.

World-Wart ranks at the absolute top of both of those lists and their spot at the top of the retail-revenue charts is not DESPITE their Godless ways, it's BECAUSE of them.

The JєωMason power-brokers have lavishly rewarded their populist economic stormtroopers.

  • This is a really old post.  It sounds like folks were buying up cans before the new ones hit the market.  I wish I had bought some.  The new ones suck.

  • I agree with you. It doesn't makes sense why the government subsidize Walmart or any of these big companies including big oil too.
