This article is scary. I don't see how a tsunami can affect Seattle, since it isn't anywhere near the coast. It's on Puget Sound, but the Tsunami would have to travel from the Straight of Juan de Fuca between Canada and Washington state, and by the time it gets to Seattle it should be small. I suppose there's a danger from the water level rising, though, in any case. The damage from a 9.0 or greater earthquake in Seattle would concern me more (since I live in Seattle, west of I-5).
