I like Fr. Horvath a lot, he gave me extreme unction years ago prior to my surgery, and I was at either his first Mass or one of his first Masses  in Louisville. The other day a screenshot on my cell phone was deleted. Every conversation is tapped.
Every Wifi printer sends data to some server. Every web page one visits gets registered. Oh! "Allow LOCATION?", Email have to be written with deliberate misspelling to avoid attracting attention from Gov't et al.
Bank cards leave an electronic trail each time you use it, even if you walk around with it in your wallet...You might be happy to know that the cards have either RFID or NFC! The computer screen/ monitor( what an appropriate term !) has a spy camera, probably a microphone too. Many cars have a chip that records your location / speed/ braking. Ubiquitous Cameras in public places. Heck, lots of them offer live coverage for all the world to see, not just BBS.
Is there a distinction between spying and surveillance?
