I've lived in Texas for 17 years and I've never seen a summer like this one. July and August are supposed to be our two hottest months. Usually daily highs in the high 90s, but sometimes the 100s. Heat indexes about 12 to 16 degrees higher than that. And usually a high pressure system causes a drought for a couple months every Summer. The timing varies, but we always get a long drought where we see no rainfall and the grass turns brown. I feel like I'm getting gypped out of my Texas summer this year. There are smells and experiences I'm not getting. For example, the smell after the sun goes down, when all the recently-baked brown grass gives off its gentle hay-like aroma.

This year, the spring Monsoon Season (when we get 90% of our yearly rainfall, or at least it seems) gave way to a very COOL, WET summer. It's barely hitting the high 80's, before the temperature quickly plummets again for the night. For all intents and purposes, the highest temperature we experience is 85, plus humidity. We haven't had a week off without rain yet. Let's put it this way: my family needs several days to mow and weedwhack everything. And we haven't managed to get it all "perfectly mowed" yet. That would DEFINITELY happen if we had a chance. But it always ends up raining, sometimes the weather stations didn't even forecast it that morning!

If I drove north for 11 hours to the middle of Kansas, I would experience HOTTER temperatures. Again, that is completely unprecedented. WHAT IS GOING ON?

Are the magnetic poles shifting or something? The weather is almost as messed up as the world (Clown World) and the Church have become. Interesting.

And this is the same year we had a winter snowstorm/freeze the likes of which Texas hasn't seen for several decades.

I would call this "climate chaos". Caused by the sun, the earth, and/or other natural processes of course, but climate chaos nonetheless.
