My first impression was that they look like those small, round, processed "onion rings" at Burger King.

They're good, but they do have a distinct aftertaste, and they're not the most digestible things in the world. An occasional guilty pleasure.

Done right --- and that is key here, done right --- Burger King's food is better than McDonald's. However, "done right" rarely happens at BK, at least in my area. A truly Third World fast-food experience.
