Now, you're going to have to follow me on this to grasp the abstract here, but it's really kind of simple. States that are governed by Democrats — that is, their governors are Democrats — lead the nation in unemployment.

Why are they proud of this? It doesn't make sense.
Well, the abstract is that they are proud of what they are doing that causes unemployment which is locking down their states and restricting the freedom once enjoyed by their citizens. That makes them feel warm and fuzzy inside as if they are saving countless billions of lives by banning hymn singing at church and forcing people to wear masks between bites in restaurants.
Are these people nuts? To answer that question, you need to peer into the empty void of nothingness that we call the leftist mind.
These are the same people who feel warm and fuzzy about banning plastic straws thinking they are affecting global warming. Yes. Some people actually believe that, if they recycle their plastic Piggy Wiggly bags that, somehow, in some small way, they are saving the planet from burning to a crisp.
So, yes. Far-left Democrats are proud, in a sense, of their high unemployment rates because it signals to the world that they are suffering for taking a stand against evil; evil being COVID-19 and Donald Trump and anyone who votes for him.
Now, what do we take away from this.
Here are four things you need to know about unemployment in the USA.
First thing, every far-left Democrat governor in the USA is employed. Obviously. They all have jobs. They are governors. They get paychecks, healthcare packages, and benefits. They also get police protection, but that's beside the point.
Second thing: The August, 2020 national unemployment rate was 8.4 percent.
Third thing: Every state with an unemployment rate above 10 percent — and there are ten of them — are governed by Democrats.

Illinois	11.0 percent
Massachusetts	11.3 percent
New Mexico	11.3 percent
California	11.4 percent
Hawaii	12.5 percent
New York	12.5 percent

Fourth thing: "These ten states have just under one-third of the country’s population,"according to Jim Hoft at thegatewaypundit.com.
Fifth thing: "Their combined population-weighted unemployment rate in August was 11.4
percent. This means the unemployment rate for the rest of the nation was below 7 percent," Hoft reported.
No wonder they hate Donald Trump. He's making them look bad.
What we are seeing here is an economic divide between what I call Venezuela states and Trump states.
I know a lot of Democrats. Contrary to public opinion, a few of them are actually nice people. They are not all green haired, wild-eyed crazy clowns we sometimes imagine them to be. Some are. Some are not. I know Democrats who are honestly trying to do the right thing by recycling plastic straws and wearing a mask between bites.
But the outcome is the same, whether they're nice people with green hair or monsters with green hair: People are suffering due to unemployment because some green-haired people don't get the dynamics of free-market economies.

They feel warm and fuzzy about other people being unemployed.

Here in Colorado we are doing much better than other Democratic controlled
States. The most recent unemployment is 6.7% as of the latest statistics on
9/18/20. However, many small businesses closed down permanently.

They would literally burn down the country if it meant they could achieve power.

That's why revolution isn't out of the question for them! They are desperate for power at any cost, like a tyrant.
