    That's a good idea- the pollen in the honey.  We get raw honey by the gallon because my dad lets the bee guy keep bees on one of his fields. I'll mix them together and see how it goes.

    I've tried putting them in smoothies and it ruined my smoothie, lol. It's terrible- I have a really light gag reflex and this is definately one of those foods that sets it off.

    About the only way so far I can stomach it is by plugging my nose and swallowing. But even then the aftertaste is torture.


    Another idea is to put the pollen on a mini-pancake or mini-crepe, fold it into a parcel then gobble. Or shape it into capsule-shaped pieces & swallow.

    The only other suggestion I can think of that has worked for me is to offer it up as penance for some reason dear to your heart like the conversion of a relative.

    Back to chia...

    I still haven't come across info on how the South Americans utilized this 'superfood'.
    Anyone know?
