Neither. Jesus called us out of the world. The cloistered monk and nun are not answering a lower calling than those who “participate”. Do whatever you need to do to get yourself to Heaven first.

    2. The first order of parti
    cipation is personal responsibility.

Is that a code word for following Christ?

    3. The education of the family and conscientious work is the first order of personal responsibility in human society.

The first order is to be baptised, attend mass, and pray unceasingly, that you might fulfill your foremost obligation, to yourself, to others and to God, of avoiding sin.

    4. Taking an active part in public life is not a high priority of citizens.

It’s certainly not a high priority of this citizen’s.

    5. Continual conversion is required of the social partners in order to fulfill the ethical obligations of a society.

Conversion of the members of a society to the Catholic Faith is required for them to meet their moral obligations.

    196. Which of the following statements is/are true (1934-1938 ): a. All men, without exception, have the same nature, the same origin, and the same destiny. Therefore they all, without exception, enjoy an equal dignity.

Absolutely false. They enjoy equal dignity only in their spirit as an image of God. Jesus calls certain types of men dogs and swine - so much for absolute equality of dignity!

    b. Although man needs others in balance talents are distributed equally.

    Nope.

    c. Differences encourage generosity, kindness, and sharing.

    And prejudice, hatred and war.

    d. It is not fair to characterize excessive economic and social disparity between individuals and peoples as “sinful inequalities”.

It is if they were built by a cabal of international robber barons on theft, slavery, war and financial fraud.

    Did I fail?
