  • Just an another fαℓѕє fℓαg to justify more of the police state and taking away the
remainders of what is left of our freedoms.

  • No villain yet.

Usually with fαℓѕє fℓαgs, we have a villain within an hour or so.  Interesting that we are six hours later and don't really know much more than we did ten minutes in.  I was listening to the radio on the way home from work about an hour after it happened, and the death toll has gone down.  I heard 12 deaths, now it seems there are two or three, depending on who you ask.  Lots of injuries, though, and many of those are amputees.  Early on there were reports of a suspect in custody but those turned out not to be true (at least we are told).  Prayers for those involved.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • I heard that a Saudi man is in custody in a hospital. He also was injured in
the blast, and that he is considered as a suspect. No other details.
    This whole episode looks suspicious.

Despite the thumbs down, this will be the result. I know how hard
it is to discover the Truth these days. We much prefer to believe
    what we are told.

I wonder why he is a suspect, other than the fact he is a Saudi.

If he was a ѕυιcιdє terrorist you think the explosion would have killed him.  If not why would he stand in the blast zone?

I thumbed you down because you come up with conclusions without any facts.

It proves that you will think it's a fαℓѕє fℓαg no matter what the evidence is.  It's weak.

  • I realize that a lot of people are suffering right now, and that's really sad.
Especially when you realize they don't know how to suffer.  They've never
    learned, and that's REALLY sad.

But beyond that, we are now being informed that since it was pressure
cookers that were packed with explosives, and the news media is all
in tangled knots over the details -- one said standard 1.6 gallon cookers
and another said 1.6 liter units and another said 1.6 meter pressure
cookers -- that now we are going to have new rules from the Department
of Homeland Security.  When you go to a restaurant supply store to buy
a pressure cooker, you're going to need to pass a background check.
There may be a "cooling off period" required.  Nothing to do with using
    a pressure cooker, of course.

And someone thinks that we need to have new laws regulating the supply
of pots and pans, maybe a new department of Homeland Scurity - the
Pots and Pans Division.  I asked, "But isn't that discriminatory?  Shouldn't
there also be a Department of Plates, Knives and Forks?  How about
Bottles and Cans?  Buckets and Bushel Baskets?"  Not to be confused
    with the BBB, of course.

Could it be he was seen running away with a cigarette lighter in hand?

Or, he was wearing a rag on his head?  You know, a "raghead?"

We had better be very careful not to "PROFILE" anyone!!  We certainly
don't want BOSTON (of all places!) to be the first American city to be
caught PROFILING terrorists!  Can you even begin to IMAGINE the pain
and suffering THAT would cause?   If you think the shrink business just
took a spike in Massachusetts, just wait until that agricultural product
    hits the air-flow generator.

You may be onto something. I was at a festival about 3 years ago. When I purchased my bottle of sprite, I was scolded for having the audacity to keep the screw on top that came with said plastic bottle.  You see, with the top on, a plastic bottle of sprite transforms into a weapon. Top off. is just a cool refreshing beverage.

Who scolded you?  Homeland Security?  That sounds like their level.
