It is currently 86.7, "feels like 91".
This is part of the "Scary Halloween Heat Wave" mentioned in this article:
http://www.cathinfo.com/catholic.php/Scary-warm-for-Halloween-2016How normal or abnormal is it? Let's let the data speak for itself:
Almanac for November 1, 2016
Forecast Average * Range *
High 85 °F 77 °F 70 to 84 °F
Low 70 °F 55 °F 47 to 59 °F
* Using data 1999 - present.
By the way, globally 2016 is shaping up to be the 2nd hottest year on record. The 1st hottest was 2012.
Global warming is a fact. The only legitimate debate is: What is causing it? The Sun, other earth-based natural processes (for example, volcanoes belching out countless tons of carbon dioxide, methane, sulfur, and other greenhouse gases) , or the works of Man?Normally Texans can turn off their A/C in mid-October, assuming they're not the type to never open their windows. We don't fall into that category; we open our windows whenever it's not hot and muggy outside. But the low temperature has to be no higher than about 65, otherwise the house won't cool below 80 at night. We can't sleep in that.
Tonight is only going down to 72. That's a typical Texas AUGUST night.
