I wish I understood the science behind these scientistic persons. Why do I still find them interesting?
This is one of my favorite scientists.
There is no doubt the weather systems illustrated on the video are most interesting. Their understanding is simple, air temperatures and the Coriolis effect determine them. Satellites show these weather systems and they can calculate their paths and timing.
Observations of the sun are also fascinating. They can determine electromagnetic effects from it using instruments designed to do that.
‘The sun, an admirable instrument, the work of the Most High…breathing out fiery vapours, and shining with his beams, he blindeth the eyes. Great is the Lord that made him, and at his words he hath hastened his course’ (Ecc. 43:2-4).Although disclosed 2300 years ago in the Bible, it was not until the twentieth century that man confirmed the sun does indeed ‘breathe out fiery vapours.’ The prominences, described today as fantastic jets of gas that appear to spring from its surface. Some of these, known as quiescent prominences, are estimated to occasionally measure several hundreds of thousands of miles across at their base, though their height does not normally exceed some 15,000 to 30,000 miles. Then there are the eruptive prominences. Narrow at the base, resembling jagged flames, they are ejected from the chromospheres, often, the say, with velocities of 50-250 mps, commonly attaining heights speculated to be 50,000- 250,000 miles, sometimes up to 500,000 miles from the surface. Interestingly, their composition is often described today as chromospheric ‘vapours.’
Then there is dark matter, a theory or another invention:
In isolation Newton’s theory of gravity looked simple enough to work, but when extended to every particle of the known and outer universe two questions demanded an answer. Why didn’t/doesn’t the whole universe solidify through attraction to its centre? To solve this heliocentric paradox Newton pondered on an infinite universe, another metaphysical idea. Since then, they have invented some stuff called ‘dark matter’ to save Newton’s problem, an invisible form of matter that keeps the stars and galaxies of the universe from gathering into one big mass. The 'invisible' bit means they don't have to show it.
In the video he says they found 'wobbles' which should not occur if dark matter was real.
What science tries to do is make cosmology fit their natural heliocentrism. What science should be doing is trying to understand what God created to work.
