Our Lady of Knock, Pray for us.
St. Pope Pius X, Pray for us.
Interesting thread, one close to my own studies.
Anyone ever heard of 'perturbations'? According to Isaac Newton's theory of gravity, every body in the his solar system is causing other bodies to be pulled out of their orbits. If these are ongoing through the his solar system, how then can eclipses be predicted with such accuracy over time? That total eclipse was confined to a small path only, and only if you were at this path would you see a total eclipse of the sun. The answer of course is that 'perturbations' are an invention to accommodate the lie of heliocentrism. In fact, as St Thomas held, the order of the universe is kept so because the angels keep it that way, for only they, working for God, could possibly hold the moving universe according to His purpose, "to bring day and night, and seasons, and signs on the earth until the end of the world.
Then I read about millions of light years. Light-year distances are another product of heliocentric indoctrination. They are based on heliocentric maths. But geocentrism, which according to Einstein and science, is equally viable, there are no maths to gauge the distance of stars. Why then should one of two scientific possibilities be taken as a fact?
Space-time: You all know that the age of the universe is based by modern science on the distance of stars. But Genesis tell us that when man was created by God on Earth the light from the stars were visible to him. This totally eliminates the idea that the stars we see took billions of light-years to reach us. Thus, according to Genesis, the universe we see is in our time, not space time, but universal time. If however we see a star explode, the light from that explosion cannot have taken more than 7,000 years to reach us.
Then there is Knock, an interpretation of which I will give later if any are interested.
