The Warning and Miracle are from the Garabandal prophecies.  The final incident to be mentioned in Garabandal is the Chastisement.  The Three Days of Darkness are not mentioned by name in the Garabandal prophecies.  If the Chastisement and the Three Days are the same event, and that event is to occur in December this year, then we ought to be expecting the Warning very soon.

There has been speculation that, if true, the Warning will be insufficient to change the hearts of most people, or at least there will still be many evil people.  The people who will not repent after the warning might even become more depraved than they are now.

Can this all happen yet this year??

Where did you hear this will happen in December?

  • see this site for Garabandal. FWIW:
    http://www.garabandalarchives.com/default.htm

I do not believe it will be a war or a natural disaster - Our Lady has told us in several apparitions it will be directly from Heaven and will be of God.

Bp. Williamson is on record for believing in the authenticity of Garabandal.

    Vigilate et orate.

  • I heard him say so in a video interview. I'll have to dig. I am pretty sure it was either you tube or Steven Steiner. No matter where - I am certain I heard him say he was.

This was from Pravoslavni in a 2007 post.

Prophecy of Blessed Tomasuccio de Foligno c. 1319-1377 A.D.

"By about twelve years shall the millennium have passed when the resplendent mantle of legitimate power shall emerge from the shadows where it was being kept by the schism. And beyond harm from the one who is blocking the door of salvation, for his deceitful schism shall have come to an end."

The schism between the Catholic Church and the Vatican II sect shall come to an end in 2012, according to Blessed Tomasuccio

Hate to burst your bubble s2sreal, but it's actually the year 3012.  No, just kidding.  A thousand years of putting up with heretical teachings would be too much!  You just might have something here.  I was reading about  a Catholic writer commenting about how Our Lord usually gives a nation, or a people a generation to repent.  Ie.,  He gave the Jєωs roughly a generation to repent before the destruction of Jerusalem.  So, with that mindset, a generation from the time that Vatican II started and ended would be 1962-1967. one generation is roughly fifty years from what I've learned.  That would put us around 2012-2017.  So the Vatican II generation time frame is running out.   It's interesting what Father Gruner suggested during one of his presentations at the last Fatima conference in Rome.  He said that the King of France was given one hundred years (roughly two generations) from the time He requested the King to Consecrate France  (as requested through Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque)  to the Sacred Heart until the time that the King lost his throne and was beheaded.  Father Gruner compared this to the Fatima consecrations today because Our Lord told Sister Lucia that They (they Pope) will do it but that it would be late (like the King of France).  With this Que Father Gruner figures it will be roughly one hundred years from the the time of the apparitions (1917) till the time runs out for His request at Fatima.  That would put us around 2017....   So who knows, maybe everything is just lining up in a way that is not by chance....

I actually heard His Excellency say this as well.  Maybe SpiritusSanctus heard him say that he was on the fence with Garabandal at a later date??  Not sure what to think about Garabandal.  Father Gruner seems to be supportive of the events.  I just have such little trust of any apparition since that of Fatima, including Akita.  I know Akita, Japan apparitions were approved by the local Bishop.  Maybe it's just me being a little overly suspicious of things in modern times??

That's surprising. I would appreciate it if you could find a link to the interview.

I saw the video of one of the Garabandal seers tested by a skeptic. He flashed his hand in front of her face when she was supposedly receiving a vision and she flinched.

I have a set of audio tapes that I just recently listened to, by Bishop Williamson.  Years ago, he was a priest at the chapel where I attend Mass.  I have spoken to people who know him and love him, personally.

One of the tapes is about Fatima.  Bishop Williamson really talks about and explains many things, but one thing he mentions is Garabandal.  I had never heard of Garabandal before that day.  He clearly believes that Our Lady's visit to Garabandal is authentic.

These tapes were recorded in 1984, before he was a Bishop, before Assisi, before lots of things.  But he definitely believed they were authentic then.  After further investigation, however, he may now believe otherwise.  But he did believe once.

I believe this timeline is the accurate one, so I do not believe the 3DD of darkness would happen this year. I have been studying Eschatology for about 12 years, and it happening this year just makes no sense when it is studied in unison with other prophecies.

    I go by this timeline:

I believe we are at the very end of the dotted line at the beginning since we are about to engage upon WWIII.

You should also read this entire blog post, it is exactly the same position I take and which I have held for years, I just never wrote it down, this guy did, so I was astounded he was on the exact same page as me with regards to all this:

Catholic Prophecy by The Catholic Knight

I have a hunch you are correct.

I cannot find conclusive evidence that Padre Pio did/didnot have anything to do with these 3 DD. Does anyone? Hope I didn't miss it here...

Thank you, CathMomof7 -- I am sure I heard it somewhere, but cannot back it up.
At least I know I wasn't mistaken on the issue, and as you say, whether Bp Williamson still believes it, we may never know, especially during these times of "silencing" or whatever it is best called.

  • The problem I have with any prediction of things is that they all involve dates which are very conveniently meaningful to numeroligists like Jєωs, politicians, and other occultists. Dec 21, 2012? 12-21-12, get it, see how the numbers are all the same yet backward? Or like 9/11- both very important numbers in Masonic numerology. Every prediction does that, which is why I give it no notice. God is not a numerologist, he does what he wants when he wants and so what if the date looks "pretty"? Any prediction of anything that relies on numerology is either baloney, or is being planned by the numerologists already as a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy. Like how way back on 9/11 of 1990 when Bush Sr. gave his "nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr" speech, and then on the exact same date, 9/11, they struck the first major blow in their plans for that very same Order. They chose 9/11 for both the speech and the attacks, because it is significant to them. Those numbers have no significance to normal people, so the only ones interested in dates that much, are the very people you should not trust.

I have one of the original VHS Docuмentaries from the Garabandal Center (Maria Sarocco).  In it, Joey Lomangino describes his conversation with Padre Pio.  Joey asks if he should go to Garabandal.  Padre Pio's answer: Yes.  Second question from  Joey: Is the Virgin Mary appearing there? P.P. answer: Yes.
