To the best of my knowledge diocesan clergy have never either promised or vowed poverty, that was for religious orders only.

Vows have never been required of secular (i.e. diocesan) priests, and to suggest it is should now be required to decidedly untraditional.

Why would a priest or nun even be asked to take a vow of chastity?
As long as they are unmarried they are bound to be chaste. Sex is forbidden to
them by God's law.

Poverty is not demanded of them by God''s law so that vow is a willing sacrificel

Obedience is willinglly putting oneself subordinate to another, another sacrifice (of free will).

They wouldn't be asked to refrain from murder or stealing, so why are they asked to abstain from impurity?

They need to take Vows because many have been involved in sɛҳuąƖ abuse scandals, financial and real estate scandals, and many give obedience to the devil when they watered down the Mass and a Catholic faith. Now the sodomists from within want to destroy marriage.

Yes, they need to take vows of poverty, chastity and obedience to God.

No they wouldn't. The church doesn't allow priests to marry.
Only religious orders take the vow. All other priests don't and they are not allowed to marry. :geezer:
