  • The Missionaries of Charity encountered government resistance when they brought aid to earthquake victims in Nepal.

Police who were escorting a group of Missionaries of Charity diverted them to a government office, explaining that aid could not be delivered without government approval. Bishop Paul Simick intervened to secure the release of the relief workers and their aid shipment, but the Missionaries of Charity were told that in the future they should let the government handle all aid.

  • Sounds like communism.
In the meantime, people who need supplies, food and water have to suffer longer.
May God bless you and keep you

  • Total reliance is total control, thus if everyone is reliant on the government for basic supplies then that government has total control.
