One nice feature of Dave Dionisi's commentary (quoted in the OP) is that he provides minute markers which exemplify the point he's making, for example:
The Fatima secret revealed in Akita warns that a Pope and other Church leaders would one day be influenced by Satan (see 13:19 - 14:04, 34:51 - 35:52, 51:29 - 52:30 and 53:21 - 54:59).
I don't think I've ever seen this observation juxtaposing Fatima and Akita.
Malachi Martin (who claimed to have read the Third Secret but was under oath not to reveal it) explained that we would know when its authentic contents are made public because the lines of Catholics waiting for Confession would be around the block at every church. That is to say that there is something very frightening in its words, something of a spiritual nature.
Saying that Church leaders would one day be influenced by satan seems to be at least
getting close to frightening. Don't forget, that soon after Martin's death, the Vatican came out with its announcement of the Secret, that is, once he was no longer around to deny its authenticity.
