Gas shortages are being reported in the Southeast of the US amid the recent cувєrsecurity attack that temporarily shut down one of the largest pipelines in the US.

Colonial Pipeline Co. Chief Executive Officer Joseph Blount said the company was in the process of restoring its systems but wouldn't resume fuel shipments until the ransomware had been removed, according to Bloomberg.

At the moment, Colonial Pipeline is manually operating a segment of pipeline between North Carolina to Maryland and expects a complete system restore by the weekend. However, gas shortages are already being reported across North Carolina to Florida to Alabama.
On Monday, North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper signed an Executive Order declaring a state of emergency, temporarily suspending motor vehicle fuel regulations to ensure adequate fuel supply supplies throughout the state.
WLOS' Caitlyn Penter reported gas shortages in North Carolina.

According to Google Search Trends, people started panic searching "gas shortage" around 1300 ET in the Southeast.

So far, nationwide gas prices have surged six cents this week to $2.96 - the highest for this time of year since 2014. If the national average soars to $2.99 or higher this week, it will be the highest since November 2014... and right before the start of summer driving season.

AAA forecasts gas prices are soaring because of the shutdown of the Colonial Pipeline, which delivers about 45% of all fuel to the East Coast.
Quote
"This shutdown will have implications on both gasoline supply and prices, but the impact will vary regionally. Areas including Mississippi, Tennessee, and the east coast from Georgia into Delaware are most likely to experience limited fuel availability and price increases, as early as this week," said Jeanette McGee, AAA spokesperson. "These states may see prices increase three to seven cents this week."
This is beginning to look like the 1970s gas shortage. If the panic just started hours ago - just wait until tomorrow. People will freak.

  • A few points:

    1. You can only store so much gas; it goes bad. Gasoline life is measured in SINGLE DIGIT MONTHS. This is slightly extended if you put additives into gasoline to stabilize it. Also extended if you store PREMIUM rather than the cheapest gas. You want the highest octane possible (i.e., the smallest % of ethanol).

    2. Despite #1, you CAN easily store GAS CANS. When there's a gas panic, you can't get gas cans for love or money. The guy in the picture storing up 10 gas cans worth? He probably owned those gas cans already -- OR he was the lucky one to clear out the Wal-mart of their gas cans. The next 10,000 people will be S.O.L.

    3. STAY THE **** HOME - stop driving around for fun! This is the CÖVÌD era; many people are working from home or unemployed. If you didn't live in a crappy suburban home or apartment, you'd have fun things to do right at home. The only time I get "cabin fever" is when we have a rash of storms, rendering the outdoors a soupy mess. Makes it hard to get between buildings. But in good weather, we have plenty of things to do, even to get a change of scenery.

    4. Related to #3: Unlike food, you don't need gas to survive. Not being able to get food? That's a big deal. Humans need food to survive. Not able to get gas? Just have to stop driving so much, I guess. How did people survive in the 1800s? Even though modern man needs gas to get to the grocery store, etc. you can try to arrange your trips to be more efficient -- buy more than 3 days' worth of food at the grocery store, for example. If I could buy 3 months worth I would. I am limited when it comes to refrigerated/fresh/frozen goods, as they require bulky refrigeration units to preserve and store. Canned goods, boxed goods, baking supplies? There's no reason not to have a 1 year supply of these.

And rather than storing fluff like bread, vegetables, ice cream in your freezer, you should use a high % of your freezer capacity for solid, heavy foods, mostly meat. Either meat, or complete meals with meat in them. But the highest density, food wise, is to store pounds of raw hamburger, beef, chicken, pork, sausage, etc. Vegetables and fruits can come from your garden, your orchard, or a can. Bread products can be stored outside the freezer, in wheat seed (to be ground into flour) or flour form. Desserts and treats can easily stored in your cabinet at room temperature. Don't waste your precious freezer space on sweets.

  • I live in this wonderful area where everyone panic buys gas normally. They always shut down the pipeline when there's a hurricane in the Gulf and we get 4 a gallon gas.
This is planned. The media waited to report it here until yesterday afternoon even though it's been closed since probably Friday night.

As to the state of gas I had to have my mower repaired (less than a year old) at my small town shop. (I only did it this way because it's still under warranty) they told me it was already stuck with additive.
They said the new fracked gas is only good for at best 3 months. After that it's basically sludge even with additive. I just get non ethanol now

  • Well, this gas run was caused by the shutdown of that pipeline due to a cувєr-attack.

Here's our buddy Schwab promising an attack:

He tells us that "CÖVÌD-19" will seem like a "small disturbance in comparison".

You know, they couldn't have picked a guy to be the face of the Great Reset who sounded more like your stereotypical nαzι from the movies?

In fact, in July of this year, they had planned a "simulation" or "training exercise" like Event 201 for cувєr-atttacks.

That site (from the World Economic Forum) links to to this ...

Since their CÖVÌD-19 jab distribution has been floundering, perhaps they moved up the "go live" date for their training exercise.

  • Most likely this was a "deep state" attack and it will be blamed on the Russians to get a hot war going.

In the news Bıdɛn threaten Russia with a cувєr attack and falsely claimed they interfered in our ɛƖɛctıons.

What is never mentioned on both sides is that Israel interferes in our ɛƖɛctıons all the time.

  • Most likely this was a "deep state" attack ....

But who are these "deep state"?  They are none other than the ɠƖobaƖısts and Jews that are also orchestrating the Plandemic and lockdown.  They're joined at the hip with Schwab and company.  I hope people don't think of "deep state" as some Democrats or Communists.

  • I went in search of gas last night --- tank was empty, needed it, didn't connect the dots --- and found stations with either no gas left, or the cards wouldn't work.  Filled up both cars and an empty 2-gallon gas can (plastic, can a "can" be made out of plastic?) I always carry in my trunk for emergencies.  The gas "can" is in the garage.  I've told my son that we have to be more conservative with our driving the next few days (hope it's no longer than that!), none of these spur-of-the-moment 50-mile road trips he enjoys.

  • It just sucks when you need to do at least 2 trips to church at 50 miles plus work.

  • I retrieved a second 2 1/2-gallon gas container from the garage that evidently my father had used for a pressure washer, weed whacker, or something.  I am still filing through his tools and hardware, to see exactly what's what --- when he was able, he worked the exterior of this house with a vengeance, but now that he has lost his speech, I do not feel like I should aggravate him with questions about what he has, and what he doesn't have.  Sadly, barring a miracle, he will never be using that equipment again.

I rinsed out the gas container thoroughly with water --- there was detritus in it, the container had been sitting there for years unused --- and it is now out on the patio, spout side down, drying in the hot sun.  I will let it dry overnight, then take it tomorrow and fill it up with gas --- if I can get any.  Prices on the street out in town are all over the place.

2 1/2 gallons is not much, but every little bit could end up mattering.  This too shall pass, but until it does, there is a minimal baseline of driving that I have to do.

Don't anybody tell AOC.  (We make that little youngster into far more than she actually is.)

  • Breaking: Whιte House on High Alert, Issues State of Emergency
May 11, 2021 in News by RBN Staff

    source:  thegoptimes
    BYANASTASIA BOUSHEE
    MAY 10, 2021
A state of emergency has been declared by the federal government following an attack on critical infrastructure that has left one of the largest oil pipelines in serious trouble.
The declaration, which was issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration on May 9, encompasses 17 states plus the District of Columbia, and is in response to the shutdown of one of the largest oil pipelines in the United States.
The Colonial Pipeline supplies approximately 45 percent of fuel consumed on the East Coast, and the shutdown is already effecting its operations. According to the company, more than 5,000 miles of pipeline have been shut down in response to a ransomware attack on its system. Experts have determined that, if the pipeline is not operational within the next few days, gas prices may start to rise. As of May 10, the pipeline has been out of operation for four days.
On May 9, it was reported that the investigation into the matter has determined the perpetrator of the attack to be a criminal ransomware gang known as ‘Dark Horse.’
According to reporting by The Hill:
    Quote
“The regional emergency declaration from the Department of Transportation lifts restrictions for motor carriers and drivers who are providing assistance to areas that are suffering a shortages of ‘gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and other refined petroleum products’ in the wake of the Colonial pipeline shutdown… The declaration grants drivers and carriers relief from ‘Parts 390 through 399 of Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations except as restricted herein.’ These regulations are reinstated once a driver or commercial motor vehicle is used for interstate commerce that does not provide assistance to help the shortage.”
The regional emergency declaration affects the following states:
    • Alabama
    • Arkansas
    • The District of Columbia
    • Delaware
    • Florida
    • Georgia
    • Kentucky
    • Louisiana
    • Maryland
    • Mississippi
    • New Jersey
    • New York
    • North Carolina
    • Pennsylvania
    • South Carolina
    • Tennessee
    • Texas
    • Virginia
The state of emergency will remain in effect until the end of the emergency, or until midnight on June 8.

  • You want to bet that the crisis will end on June 8, absolutely no. It may be extended throughout the country. We will be back to
the long gas lines of the 1970's and 1980's. The purpose is get people depending on the government subsistence and helicopter
money.  With the price of fuel doubled and tripled is the "deep state"plan to force us into submission in their plans of a reset into
    a one world government.

What's supposed to happen on June 8?  You've lost me there.

I had errands to run today, and tried to find someplace to top off my tank this afternoon on the way home.  Nothing to be found except diesel.  My son asked me to take him to Target tonight, and I told him no, that's all the way across town, 20 miles each way, we cannot be doing unnecessary driving.

Yes, Dave Cullen reported on this at the time. (I think you mean July of last year, though). He wasn't sure what to think, but said to file it away in your mind just in case. I have the same attitude.
    .
EDIT: I'm sorry, I think you meant the simulation is planned for this coming July. Not that it was planned this July. Sorry. I forget when Dave Cullen reported on this, but I think it was last winter, towards the end of 2020 IIRC.
