It would be the same scenario if the Grocery ran out of watermelons or BBQ ribs. White peoples... just don't care bout nothin!
I appreciate the stereotype and all, but frankly I'm sympathetic here.
You had ONE JOB, Popeye's -- if you're out of chicken, what the heck are you good for?
Reminds me of Subway or Papa Murphy's being out of bread or pizza crust -- in a normal world, they'd have sacks of flour on-hand (which are EASILY stockpiled), and would produce such foundational, critical items on-site, so that such would NEVER happen. But in today's Just-in-Time warehousing method, where food is made at one location and delivered to all satellite locations, any disruption and the bakery is completely out of bread. It's insane, really.
I mean, running out of olives or something I can understand. You don't have olive trees on-site. But something that SHOULD be produced on the premises? The same for chicken, but for different reasons. They should be able to keep enough of that ONE ingredient that is required for ALL their menu items. It's not like there's a legit nationwide chicken shortage or something.
