  • Although his normal voice was tenor, he had a four octave range!  Normal range is 2 octaves +/-
    Mariah Carey has a five octave range, such a shame that she misuses a beautiful gift from God.

    Sounds to me like his four-octave range was achieved though falsetto?  Can anyone have a non-falsetto range of greater than 2 octaves or so?
