Hark, which common and base vagrant doth dare b'smirch yon beginning remarks?  Methinks some indign'd Jack; 'tis meet he should reveal his visage and not make dainty if there is a quarrel to be had, or admit to misprision.

God save thee, Graham.

The heart doth wane at the fortune of yon thread!

Anon, arise from Elysium and do thou impose thyself upon the philistines!

Yeas.

Yet bid me this conjecture, for I fathom the dozen bespeaks of the turn of the rye. I chanced upon one sorrowful gentleman in times past, and he bespoke of the fallacy that the baker doth know of the seed of the rye. Abstain he may, I said to him, for the bread taketh chance versus the wraith of the kingmaker, but he partook of the wine, and i doth say unto him, here my good man is thy remedy for all thy rustic melodies. But he bid me speak on the knighthood of the wine, yea i said, when thou hast been sober then i shalt sing to thee the psalms. And thou knowest he chanced upon grace, for the maidens beckoned for the harp to be brought to the gathering. Thence followed merrymaking and gallavanting amidst a most jovial occasion. Yet the psalms I did recite, and in this was the occasion redeemed.
