    • I'm sorely disappointed in the 'NORAD tracks Santa' site, and I apologize for posting it. I don't think it's appropriate even for this subforum.

    My memory of it from last year is of of it having been a rather imaginative way of depicting, in video, the mythological Santa Claus, and I was touched by the idea of a hotline that children could call for updates. I liked how they never showed Santa's face, keeping an air of mystery about him. And Rudolph's nose seemed funny. Of course, I also remembered the time in my childhood during which I believed in this myth.

    I don't at all recall the site being so commercial.

    I'm sorry for any offense or disappointment I may have caused.
