  • Trying to find a Catholic statement from Poche is like trying to find a needle in a haystack if the haystack were space. It - along with constructive comments and something not the copy paste of an article or the summary of a heart-attack-inducing diet - is simply not found in him.

  • The priest who originally did that said that he was concerned about the children of families where there was divorce and remarriage or other situations of blended families. It was not about "gαy marriage." I think that we should give the priest the benefit of a doubt. God, Himself was the Father of Jesus and St. Joseph was his foster father. So, in a backhanded way Jesus did have two fathers.
Conciliardom is all about "backhanded ways," double-speak, and forcing square pegs into round holes, huh Poche...
The only thing I see "backhanded" in your assessment is your slyly implying that God and Joseph are analogous to "2 dads" in the context of divorce/remarriage/blended families.  Blasphemous!

  • STONE HIM!!! STONE HIM!!! STONE HIM!!!
    :laugh2:
I like saying that. My siblings and I have very creative ideas of what "Stone him" really means...
Many people say "For the Honor and Glory of God!" but, what they should say is "For the Love, Glory and Honor of God". - Fr. Paul of Moll

  • I think Poche is a team.  Maybe a team of 2 - 5.
This thought had occurred to me.
I could be on the ipad and my husband could be on the desktop and we could both be posting under the same name at the same time (but he wouldn't be in it ;)).  That would account for number and rapidity of the posts.

  • Did you go to the 6:30am this week? I think I may have seen you, if it was indeed you. Doing devotions to the Holy Face and Stations of the Cross after mass?
No, I didn't get to go this week.
