Title: People stapling bread to trees, to be part of something big

These people need the Catholic Faith STAT.

Because logic has no place in our current universe, people are stapling slices of bread (https://www.foxnews.com/health/hamburger-hot-dog-buns-recalled-hard-plastic-in-products) to trees and bragging about it online.
The residents of Sheffield, England, are the latest to become aware of the bready trend, with some apparently trying to make sense of the sightings any way they can.

“They are on the north side of the road and on the [northeast] sides of the trees,” one local observed, according to Wales Online (https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/uk-news/sheffield-residents-dont-know-whether-16584956). “Is this part of some weird new cult?”

“First Breadding of the day,” one user posted of their recent work. (Reddit/Gotchya12354)

The answer, while likely “no,” is still a mystery. However, the trend appears to have originated on Reddit’s “Bread Stapled to Trees” (https://www.reddit.com/r/BreadStapledToTrees/) forum, where users are gleefully sharing photos of their notable “breaddings,” oftentimes with completely extraneous explanations of the types of bread and staplers used.
“First Breadding of the day,” one user, who goes by the name Gotchya12354, wrote alongside a picture of his work (https://www.reddit.com/r/BreadStapledToTrees/comments/cdk6ow/first_breadding_of_the_day_ill_release_mor_as/). “I’ll release [more] as time passes but this is a Asda white fresh sliced bread with a normal stapler.”
Many of the users also gleefully shared photos of their “weird grain bread on birch,” (https://www.reddit.com/r/BreadStapledToTrees/comments/cajicm/weird_grain_bread_on_birch/) or “whole wheat on oak,” (https://www.reddit.com/r/BreadStapledToTrees/comments/cafl7q/whole_wheat_on_oak_a_classic_pairing/) among literally hundreds of other examples.

It almost sounds satanic, as if it is an attack against Christ, Who is the Bread of Life.

These perverts have taken the Rainbow, a symbol of Christian Hope and have turned it into a gαy pride symbol.

They have taken our symbols of worship and have inverted them, saying the Lord's Prayer backwards.

They wear an upside down cross, as seen in the Jєωelry worn by Chelsea Clinton.

Instead of partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ, they drink the blood and eat the flesh of children and babies in satanic rituals, and then they post bread on trees.

How miserable are these men and women who have sold their souls to the devil in exchange for temporary power, wealth, and fleeting love. Instead, they will become the food of demonic worms who will eat their bodies eternally. They are the most miserable of men because there is no redemption for their blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Just a bunch of bored teenagers having a bit of fun. The birds will eat the bread and everyone will forget this ever happened in a week. Not the most harmful way of "rebelling" out there.

But they are damaging trees with their stupidity.

If they are bored maybe they should ride bikes, read books or work a job.

When I was at University, the more air-headed among us used to drape trees in toilet paper.  Why?  Boredom?  Smoking too much Mary Jane?  It was called TP-ing standing for Toilet Paper.  They'd occasionally TP cars and buildings as well.  It sounds like breading is in the same category.  The only difference is that now they can share their silliness with the whole world...if the world cares to watch.

This is from reddit. It's basically pranking the internet. Some people find amusement participating in the prank. Participation might mean posting pictures, but can also involve making up history. It's audience participation performance art, so it can stick around longer than random April 1 product pranks (eg, the McPickle).

Best analogy I thought of are Australians and people who have been there, who have first-hand stories of the dangers of drop bears.

****I understand what you are saying, but it seems to me that you are over-thinking this.  It's a goofy fad --- since the advent of the internet, things like this have gotten started.  The only sinfulness I can see in this --- and this is really a stretch --- is that it is wasting food that could be eaten for nourishment.  And even then, the wildlife of the forest could eat the bread and be nourished, so it's not really "wasted".

I hope I am not overthinking this, but with almost 50 percent of England professing to be atheistic and anti-Christ, it is not a stretch of the imagination to realize that evil does exist in the world today more than at any time in the past.

We are entering into dangerous times. Saying daily or even hourly prayers of protection not only makes sense, but it vital to our spiritual, mental, and physical health. The most potent prayer, which can be said almost continually is the Jesus Prayer:

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us.  OR

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, through the prayers of the Most Pure Mother of God, have mercy on us and save us.

Prayer of Protection

Heavenly Father, I humbly beseech Thee, please
protect and deliver me from every evil past,
present, and to come.

Protect and deliver me from vain thoughts and evil
imaginations.

Heavenly Father, I earnestly entreat Thee, please
send Thy Holy Angels to protect and deliver me
from all demons, certain persons, and certain
circuмstances that would seek to either disgrace,
dishonor, or slander me, or separate me from my
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and His Holy
Church.

Heavenly Father, please protect and deliver me
from every evil eye, every jealous eye, and
every suspicious glance of the eye.

I ask this through the intercession of the Most
Pure, Blessed, and Ever-Virgin Mary, Saint (my
patron saint's name), and in the name of Thy
Son, our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Just a bunch of bored teenagers having a bit of fun.
They're not upper crust, just po' boys pretending to be heroes.
However you slice it, they're a club trying to get a rise without a rye sense of humor.
They should go against the grain, stop loafing, and get better roll models before they're toast.
They're just being kneady and it's crumby for the breadwinners.
Society deserves butter. It's the yeast they could do.

Are you implying that the bread is being baked, buttered, and branded by Q anon autists?
