    In the video, Gregg Godfrey flew 160 feet, pulverizing the previous 62-foot record at the Evel Knievel Days in Montana. He made a relatively clean finish on the ramp after floating midair. Godfrey was originally gunning for 140 feet but sailed well past that.

    Good point.  The cameraman was about a safe distance away!  

    This is an example of how "thrillseekers" can put themselves in danger just watching.
