Title: name change
Post by: Croix de Fer on February 09, 2018, 11:06:23 AM
Many of you might know that my former username was "ascent". I changed it to my current username. I was thinking about changing it, again, to "Full Sugar Brah".

He listened to a health video where the Dr said that 'sugar' can cure diabetes and he has taken this 1 statement literally, and to the extreme, (without distinguishing between complex carbs and table sugar) to mean that we should all overload on sugar (no matter what type) and this is the better than overindulging in proteins/oils.

Full sugar brah is a twist offshoot from the dopers athletic slang saying "full natty brah".  It is said by one who says they are not using performance enhancing drugs, but they are.  They use slang to lighten the mood you could say about a negative subject(lying and PED's).  It turns a serious subject like lying about/and using PED's into comedy(so they think) if you catch them in their lie.  The translation is, I am all(full) natural(natty) brother(brah).

I recommended a couple of weeks ago that croix change his name to "sucker".  Because, the word sucker is a derogatory word for one who eats a lot of simple sugars.  Simple sugars are slave food.  Sucker!

In this context, and keeping with its slang use, it means that croix consumes one a lot of refined sugar, and two believes refined sugar is the key to a healthy successful existence here on planet earth.

This is partly incorrect. I know the difference between complex carbs (pasta, etc.) and simple sugar (refined, table sugar). I also emphasized a diet in carbohydrate, which includes simple sugars like refined sugar. Also, the medical journals cited in the above video reveal that refined sugar cures Type 2 Diabetes and increases insulin sensitivity. What's wrong with taking the truth "to the extreme"? Is that supposed to be an ad hominem?

I'm full sugar and full natty, brah. 8) Seriously. I've never doped, and I like the sugar. Your narrative about dopers and the slang is blanket statement. In fact, how do you quantify the percentage of actual dopers who say they're "full natty"? You're simply forming a narrative in the form of an ad hominem that is untrue in many cases.

You're also jelly over my fluctuating, yet lean, 5% to 10% body fat, musculature & easy hypertrophy, and physical prowess, despite my high consumption of carbohydrates, including simple sugars with no inhibition.

On a side note, I've even snorted pure cane powdered sugar on occasion. No, that's not a metaphor for the drug cocaine. I actually snort pure cane powdered sugar every "blue moon". It really gets the body energized. That stuff will make you sweat, brah. 8)

Ok so sugar cured diabetes.  So what?  People have been known to cure cancer by eating 40 apples a day.  Does that mean EVERYONE should eat extreme amounts of sugar or eat 40 apples a day, for the rest of their life?  Of course not.

The problem is that in the other thread we were talking about a healthy LIFESTYLE (which is what Dr Mc-- was talking about) and how sugar fits into that LONG TERM lifestyle and you kept saying that 'since table sugar cures diabetes, then it's ok to eat it all the time'.  This is retarded logic and Dr Mc-- disagrees with you 100%.

*I forget Dr Mc---'s name

Nothing wrong with eating 40 apples a day or 40 bananas a day.

He says to eat a diet high in carbs, and not to worry about simple sugars being part of the total carb intake, and cut out fats and oils in the diet. That is the long term diet that is healthy.

Ummm... When my Great-great-grandparents came to America from Austria, they worked in the ports of N.Y. unloading bananas, saving up to move to TX. What did they eat during that time? Bananas! Do you know what happened from eating so many bananas? Serious diarrhea... I would not recommend eating 40 bananas a day, but if you do, please let me know what happens. I wpuld be very interested in your results.

Oh, you mentioned snuffing cane sugar: Is it organic? A particular brand/variety? Do you know anyone else that does this? It's a foreign practice to me.

That's what I figured.  I'm sure that Matthew, the Moderator can change it for you.  Unfortunately, you don't have enough posts yet to have PM enabled.  So he'll have to see your post here.

I just registered, again, because I forgot my previous password and email. I was "Quid Retribuam" who registered about 2 weeks ago. Now, I can't upload my avatar. I want to use the same avatar. What am I doing wrong?
