Title: Monks and silence.
Post by: Tallinn Trad on September 01, 2021, 07:11:22 PM
Man joins a monastry where the strict rule of silence only allows the monks to speak once every 15 years.

15 years later the abbot asks him if they is anything he would like to say.  "Yes, there's too much sugar in the porridge".

15 years after that the abbot asks him again if he has anything to say.  "Yes, there is still way too much sugar in the porridge".

After 45 years, when the abbot asks, him he replies.  "That's it, I am packing my bag and leaving this place".

"Good", replies the abbot, "ever since you have been here all you've done is complain.
