Maybe someone went Joy riding?
Or to run some errands.
My MIL loves to tell the story about her grandmother who would ride around town on a riding lawnmower. She never did get a drivers license, but she would drive the mower everywhere. To the bank, to the post office, grocery store, etc. She had a trailer that would hook onto it just in case she needed to haul stuff.

This of course was in a very small town.
My MIL also tells me all the time how much I remind her of her grandma and how we would have been best pals. I’m not sure how to take that but she’s probably right.

I do love my small town. Last night a woman’s house burned to the ground, along with all of her possessions. The community rallied around her and are making sure all her needs are met by donation of physical items and monetary donations. It is heartening to witness.
