R u people Catholics ?

How is it crazy to warn people about the end of the world ?

If u knew like I do - if u had the dream - would u keep it to yourself and say nothing ?

From the bible "your young men shall dream dreams...."

That is what happened - I saw it in a dream

Matthew 24:27

"for as lightning flashes in the east to the west so shall it be when the son of man comes"

This is what I saw - I saw huge hexagons of lightning all over the night sky

Remember this - Jesus Christ himself was called a liar and a blasphemer by the Sanhedrin in the ѕуηαgσgυє

So go ahead hypocrites - go on - call me a liar

Dude, I'd go to a priest in confession and ask him for help discerning what to do. Talking about it on a message board would be the LAST thing I would do, in that I would not do it.

I've met Peter II, Enoch, Elias, The Great Monarch, and other delusional people. What they all needed was to make a good confession.

Sounds like a bad case of "The Jerusalem Disease."

Every year a few folks visiting the Holy Land get delusions of grandeur, fancying themselves to be John the Baptist, Mary Magdelene, etc.

The advice to consult a priest was sound - and charitable.

The OP's response to that advice was anything but.

Anyway, to help the poor guy squelch his fears....

This thread reminds me of those evangelicals who obsess over the end-times.

"Oh there's wars and lightning and the Jews have returned to Israel so the end of days is at hand! Prepare for the Anti-Christ and the rapture!"

Why obsess about such things? We should always be watchful no matter what but on the other hand putting belief into signs of the end-times is like an idolatry of modern "Christians" along with supporting Israel.

Read what I wrote u idiot - I already told 2 priests and like u lot they did not believe me either

Jesus christ said "I am the son of god"

The Sanhedrin said "u r a liar and a blasphemer" and they crucified him - yet he told the truth!!!!

And more than that he proved it by virtue of the miracles he performed - then those idiots accused him of getting his power from the devil

Jesus told them - "if a kingdom is divided against itself how does it stand ?"

In other words Jesus was basically saying "so now the devil is healing people ?"

That's how stupid those idiots were - yeah the devil is giving power to Jesus so that he can go round healing the blind and curing the sick - YEAH THAT MAKES A WHOLE WORLD OF SENSE TO U IDIOTS!!!!
But now billions believe Jesus was telling the truth - and now here is a man telling u about the return of Jesus and all u idiots can do is say stupid crap like "he is delusional" etc

It Looks to me like a case of history repeating itself - u tell them the truth and they call u a liar

Yes Jesus now I know how u must have felt back then - there is just no accounting for the stupidity of the human race!!!!

I have never heard of any prophet or visionary sanctioned by the Catholic Church ever try to convince the world about their message in the same way as you have.
You need to invest in some humility.

You've already told us "idiots" that you talked to "two other priests like u lot" and they told you that it was bogus, and you expect to come here and try to convince us that what you saw is some apocalyptic sign?

 :stare:

Did you even think about what you said before you said it?

Well, our little friend is either doing some spot PR for a screenplay he's working on or he's close to tanking altogether. However, and this is  historically interesting, he may actually be the ONLY guy Will Rogers ever hauled off and punched in the nose!

If he quits having "prophetic" delusions, he's got a real future on MSNBC!

I can't be convinced of anything by a person who uses text talk and doesn't finish sentences.

I'm pretty sure God's prophets of the Old Law as well as those He has revealed things to under the New all had one thing in common: The ability to communicate their message through proper grammar so that they could be understood.

OP, so you had a dream. The Devil gives dreams also. And Many dreams are neither from God or the devil and are just manifestations of our sub conscience, or what has been on our minds lately.  If the priests said drop it, then be like the saints before you were, meek and humble, and obey your confessor.  And for goodness sake, please stop calling these good people idiots.

If what you say really means that Christ is coming then there would be a lot of things that were supposed to be fulfilled but didn't since the end of the world is here. There needs to be at least a few hundred years before Christ's return so that everything can be fulfilled. I would say we are about 500 years away from Christ's return still. Maybe more.

So, if you want to warn people away from their filth...and you come to about the most staunchly old-fashioned traditional Catholic message board in the world to do it...people are going to assume you are stupid or crazy.  If anyone, anyone in the world is shriven and ready to go home, it's a bunch of iron-clad Traddy Catholics.

So, where are you going next to spread your message?

Great.  You need to go their again, now that they've gone gαy, or whatever.

And, after that, next stop would be www.Catholic.com

You can then go on to www.Catholic-convert.com

Once all of them have been advised to leave their filth and have listened, come on back and I'll give you some more URL's.

However, I'll re-iterate, if anyone is shriven and ready for the end, it's this bunch of hard-boiled Catholics.  Whether they believe you about the exact date or not, I'd say your work is done here.

And I've taken the liberty of alerting ABC, CBS, NBC, the BBC, MSNBC, FOX, C-SPAN, EWTN, the Washington Post, the New York Times, etc. as a courtesy.

I've had very little time to post or do much of anything online lately, but I HAD to jump in here before Matthew bans this one.

You're obviously not a traditional Catholic; if you were, you wouldn't be referring to "Christians AND Catholics". There are no Christians BUT Catholics. Any traditional Roman Catholic would tell you so in a minute.

Go see a traditional priest and get straightened out; if you're looking for recruits for your woo-woo brigade :tinfoil:, you'll not find any here.

Hexagonal lightning... oh, brother.

If we all listened to people like you we would be mormons. Please don't expect us to believe what you say unless you provide a good amount of hardcore evidence. Lighting shaped like a hexagon is not enough. How about 10 more bits of evidence based on scripture and the sayings of the doctors of the Church. Then I might take you more seriously.

Its fun listening to you though.

Having a vivid dream does not mean that it's a prophecy for the future, Edb123. I think that you also stated that you've heard voices since then telling you to tell people about it. Still, it may not be a prophecy. I don't think that you are lying, Edb123, but what you dreamed about doesn't line up with Sacred Scripture, as has been pointed out to you, but you're not addressing it.

When Noah was told to build the ark, he told people why he was building it, but I don't recall that he berated those who did not believe him. He was a just man, and had no need of name calling.

I've had vivid dreams myself, but they did not portend the future.

Seriously consider the following:  the dream you had was nothing more than a dream.  Many people, myself included, dream about amazing things, about saintly people, and even about God.  99% of the time, they are nothing more than dreams, and are certainly not prophecies from the Lord.

You have had priests tell you this dream meant nothing.  You have had many lay people tell you the same.  Consider that they may be right.  Being told you are wrong and/or a liar doesn't give you the right to equate yourself with Christ.  No one is denying you had this dream.  We simply doubt it is anything more than a dream.

I already gave the evidence from the bible - Matthew 24:27

Remember this - Jesus Christ was called a liar and a blasphemer by the Sanhedrin in the ѕуηαgσgυє when he told them "I am the son of god" - so called priests of god and yet they still called him a liar even after he proved he was telling the truth by virtue of the miracles and cures he did

God gave Daniel visions of the future in dreams and he wrote about it

I saw the return of Jesus in a dream - I did not only see hexagons of lightning I also saw a huge angel in the sky and lava shooting out of the ground in many places and I also saw a bright white light off on the horizon getting slowly but surely brighter

Jesus told the truth and he was called a liar - I am now telling u the truth and u r now calling me a liar

I never called you a liar. I just said I would need more evidence in order to start considering what you are saying. I know that there needs to be a few hundred years before the return of Christ since there are a number of things that need to be fulfilled which take time. What you are saying is not adding up to the overall picture based on what I already know.

What you say does not trump scripture.

What I am saying is confirmed by scripture - by matthew 24:27

And I have given additional details not mentioned there

The bible does not contain all of heaven and earth

All u need to know is this - Jesus christ himself was called a liar and a blasphemer by priests

The fact that some priests now don't believe me is irrelevant - priests get things wrong - what happened to Jesus is proof of that!!!!

I find it amazing that priests lack the faith to believe what I am telling them is true even though it is confirmed by Matthew 24:27

Also from the bible "your young men shall dream dreams...."

I can only tell u the truth!!!!

Perhaps I didn't do a very good job of explaining what I was trying to say in my previous posts.

There are a lot of events, in scripture, regarding the end times that have not taken place yet. These events will take a few hundred years to be fulfilled. Once they are fulfilled, Jesus Christ will return. Christ won't return until they have been fulfilled. Otherwise, scripture would be wrong.

You expect me to believe you over scripture? I think not.
