The meme with Christ on it is wrong because images of Christ should be placed in a church or in a home to be venerated. The person who made this meme may have thought it funny, but he fails to understand basic theology.

Sacred Images of Christ, His Mother, and the saints are to be venerated. These images are windows into Heaven. They encourage us to pray and to seek heavenly aid. This is a serious matter. It is just as serious as laughing in Church and disturbing the Holy Mass. A sacred space has been violated.

These Sacred Images stand alone. They do not need any political messages as they speak volumes without any need of words, but we need to be silent, sober and repentant to hear these heavenly voices.
