  •   Told me by a friend who was married but not yet entered her husband's house:
" Last night my husband visited our family and asked dad if he could take me out. Dad said it was OK but have to return before midnight. We got to some restaurant ordered pizza and wow it was 11 pm already. He was in haste to take me home so we runned quickly till I reached the home and tried to jump to my own room without waking up anyone. I was fast asleep when I heard my cellphone ringing at 2 am. It was dad with a half-sleep voice:" where are you?" , "I am in my bedroom daddy". "OK OK it's alright. He was being a liberal democrat that night."  :fryingpan:

It means that a liberal is someone who doesn't punish you for staying with your husband a little longer than you are commanded.
Posted it in teen hangout because it is silly. even too silly for this section.

  •   Therefore whenever you hear about such and such nations wanting ''liberal democracy'', keep it in mind that maybe their definition of this term is so different from what Americans think. So are words like freedom, feminism, children rights, equality, technology etc.
