Thankyou, Patrick! I enjoyed them. Especially the first one with the birds chirping in the background.   :smile:

More and more I am appreciating simplicity in music. The raw, gruff sound of men singing a boisterous tune is pleasing to the ears and heart.

This one has more birds chirping in the background for you, Jen. :smile:  I find the sentiments and history expressed in this song to be more profound than almost any other I've heard, though their profundity might go unappreciated due to their simplicity.  It's one of my favourite songs :



This one starts off with a more militant tone, which I also like :

Those are nice, PereJoseph. The birds were gulls this time. :)

The first song has an especially captivating minor melody. I like it the best. I'm sure I could appreciate it more if I had a better grasp on French. I got the basic understanding of what it was about by examining the lyrics, but not completely. I can't find an English translation of the words!
