    • William Lane Craig, a Protestant apologist, has expanded upon the First Cause argument with his Kalam cosmological argument.  I get his newsletter monthly, and he has his own website.  He is an accomplished theistic apologist, much like his Islamic counterparts.  My favorite quote (paraphrasing) from him:  "If you are an atheist, you must believe that the Universe came from nothing by nothing."

    That would be pantheism, which Dawkins calls "sexed-up atheism."  The problem for pantheists is the same problem for naturalistic materialists, the "chicken or the egg"  -- Can the Universe be its own cause?  Either way, it's "by nothing from nothing" logic.
