TPTB wanted us to notice his earlobes- they could have easily left them unattached. If we notice these "clues" it's just another assault on our logic and reason - them letting us know and we unable to do anything about it.

I think that's a good explanation. Especially in light of the stօʟɛn ɛʟɛctιօn that everyone knows was stolen. They didn't even try to cover it up.

Why not let the majority have their choice (Tɾυmρ) since They control both parties?
The ONLY EXPLANATION is demoralization: they want to show us how in control they are. There's a diabolical satanism at work, similar to what you see in a Communist state. They steal something right from under our noses, and DARE us to do something about it. And they know we aren't going to do anything. And that "doing nothing" makes us feel demoralized, like crap.
