I am up since 4.30AM because of a scary dream I had.

I dreamt I was a protoss zealot who was part of an army that had lost a battle. Stumbling across a chest, I opened it and from it a hologram was projected of a gargoyle like protoss officer.

He greeted me by my protoss name, and said I was his succour.
I tried to tell him how we lost our major fortress and was frustrated.
He did not want to hear my sentiments of frustrated defeat and instead says "you need to think. YOU IN PARTICULAR need to think"

Then he says "I wish..."
And I woke up, his voice ringing in my ears.

You ever see "StarCraft"? It is a famous strategy game. You can play as one of 3 races... terrans, protoss, zerg. The protoss zealot is one of the protoss units. He fights with swords made of psychic energy. :cool:

Dreams can indeed be strange, fantastic, horrifying, or any number of things.  Take heart in the fact that the vast majority of the time, they mean nothing, and are simply your unconscious mind connecting stray thoughts.

I would strongly suggest not assigning either divine or diabolic influence to your dreams.

I have had some crazy dreams. One time I got all of my fingers on my left hand chopped off. Another time I was being chased by a dark figure dragging an extension cord. the most disturbing thing though was a period of about one month when I woke up at exactly 2:23 every night and I would be terrified and sweating, the strangest part was the fact that it abruptly stopped when I told my family about it. I admit that I haven't had anything as relevant as becoming a protoss with the somewhat relevant dialogue.

My five year old just told me he had a dream that a bunny punched him in the face!

For those who thumbed up your post... what you got against her five year old? lol

I always dream but never take any notice of them.

Except this one time

I was reading a book on Mao Tse Dong (spelling not sure about) in real life.  Now while I was reading this book I got very bad creepy almost evil feelings at night just before I went to sleep.  I felt as if an evil spirit was right up against my face and leering at me.

Fast forward a couple of days until I had a dream that I was being chased through a dingy house like what you would see crack addicts living in.  There was an huge evil dog chasing me going to kill me, as I ran I was slashing anything and everything in my way including humans, one was a baby, I was able to keep ahead of the dog but he was always just behind me.

I woke up really really disturbed and frightened.  Next day I for some reason thought it had to something to do with the book and first thing in the morning I threw it into my stove and let it burn.  Never had those creepy feelings or that dream since.

I wouldn't mind but the book was very well written and I got a very good image of China, their people, the struggle and also about that monster but I couldn't stick another minute of those evil feelings.

There have been some holy dreams and some evil dreams I have had.

One evil dream was where I was somewhere, looked like a college or school, and there was young people chasing after me. I knew they were demons. One of them throws a dart at my skull and it gets stuck in my head. The demon said "we'll kill you".

One good dream I had was where I was walking down a street and was being surrounded by lots of lambs all clustering around me. I was one of the lambs but was a human.

I'm not sure it is correct to describe dreams as either "holy" or "evil."  Yes, the content of the dreams could be holy or evil if they occurred in real life, but because they are just dreams--thoughts your unconscious mind is connecting in ways that often don't make sense--I think they can only be morally neutral.  The exception, of course, would be if your dreams were actually a divine or diabolic message, but again, these are such rare occurrences that I strongly suggest you not jump to that conclusion.
