I wasn't raised to spend money frivolously.
I can honestly say I've never spent money better than on good headphones. Never have I gotten more for the money. In buying "cheap" headphones I always got burned, since I typically broke them within a few months.
200 bucks is a llot of money. For some families, it'sa months ggroceries.
The dollar has lost a huge amount of value and groceries are very cheap compared to the old days.
I cannot justify that kind of expense. Besides, I love classical music and going to the symphony is more enjoyable than listening to mp3. Better use of money as far as I am concerned.
A person who can afford to regularly go to the symphony, paying for the gas and ticket, can afford decent headphones.
If it's not your thing I understand. It's just it's not a huge expenditure, and it's worth the money, in my estimation.
