I've sampled most of the comics on "Dry bar comedy", a clean comedy outfit in Utah.
As the name suggests, they don't allow alcohol on the premises.
Kellen Erskine is one of the best comedians they've had on the show. Another full special just dropped.
Maybe it's just my taste, but high-IQ comedians are the best. Note how he connects several unrelated things back together throughout the show. Also, he is able to improv, and well. That is what sets great comedians apart.

Here's his other special:

But you can't make comedy too intelligent, otherwise a lot of people just aren't going to get it.

I didn't say joking about esoteric subjects like quantum physics.
I said the *comedian* needs to be high IQ, his brain operating at a level high above the average, so he can subtly highlight absurdity and get the crowd to laugh. He will have a good memory, be able to tie things together, think up great jokes on the spot, etc.
The material for their jokes is always "average joe" level, completely everyday banal stuff that everyone can relate to -- but behind the scenes, the high-IQ comedian has honed everything perfectly like a sculptor. Like a master playing the violin.

I can't believe you have to defend a post about a comedian who provides a clean and intelligent act......
Erskine is awesome and this latest show is all new material and equally as funny! Thank you for posting!
