  • She died “without permission” or “provision”?  I didn’t understand Fr.  The SSPX jumped ship from somewhere in the Philippines because of Covid?  That’s cowardly if that’s the reason.  Or were they kicked out because of problems with visas and passports, along with the virus?  What could the faithful do, in this situation?  If their choice was the diocese or go without, they can hardly be blamed, IMO, for whatever they decided.  I’m in the same situation, not because the SSPX bailed, but because where I’ve landed lieu of homelessness, I’ve a choice of a parish that’d rejoice the heart of (Fr.) James Martin, or involuntary home-alone.  I thank God I have no children to raise; it’s just me, so I pray at home, watch Mass live on line when I can, or, more usually, a day or two afterwards.

  • That's a terrible to thing to say the SSPX abandoned Bohol. It's like saying the Resistance abandoned Korea for 2 years :facepalm:The chapels are still there. Travelling to the different provinces of the Philippines were so restricted due to the lockdowns.
