Priests, like laity, sin.  Unfortunately the devil really attacks priests and they have more opportunity to commit really bad sins.

Among priests, sins like impurity (fornication, sodomy) are comparatively scarce compared to sins of negligence, not doing their duty of teaching their flock how to live the faith - how to dress, how the faithful should conduct themselves with those of the opposite sex, the parents obligations to teach that to their children, the parents obligations to teach their children work skills......

Today, in that sin of negligence, it is the complete opposite, there practically are no priests fulfilling their duty. Not a one. And I am speaking of the SSPX.

St. John Chrysostom, Patriarch of Constantinople, Doctor of the Church:

I do not speak rashly, but as I feel and think., I do not think that many priests are saved but that those that perish are far more numerous. The reason is that the office requires a great soul. For there are many things to make a priest swerve from rectitude, and he requires great vigilance on every side. Do you not perceive how many qualities a bishop must have that he may be apt to teach; patient towards the wicked, firm and faithful in teaching the Word? How many difficulties herein.

Moreover the loss of others is imputed to him. I need say no more. If but one dies without baptism, does it not entirely endanger his salvation? For the loss of one soul is so great an evil as no man can understand. If the salvation of one soul is of such importance that, for its sake, the Son of God became man and suffered so much, think of the penalty the loss of one soul will entail. (Third Homily, Acts of the Apostles)

You also have to add the big limiting factor - the SSPX (and all independent chapels) are not parishes.  No Trad Bishop/priest has jurisdictional authority over any layman.  So, laymen aren't obligated to strict obedience, as in the past.  Trad-land is the wild west.  Priests can preach til they are blue in the face, but it's just a suggestion.  In this regard, they have fulfilled their duty.

.
In pre-V2 times, bishops/priests had more authority, so their duty was also more elevated.  Today, it's just a different story.

It is.  So let the individual soul beware.

Agreed.
Also in trad-land you have one priest contradicting another.
And the advice is often really off the mark.

A priest does not need any jurisdictional authority to teach what I said: teaching their flock how to live the faith - how to dress, how the faithful should conduct themselves with those of the opposite sex, the parents obligations to teach that to their children, the parents obligations to teach their children work skills......"

Actually, any layman can teach those things. Yet the SSPX priests are not doing it. It appears to me that the organization has become like Protestant ministers, who would be shooting themselves in the foot if they said things that chased away their clientele. No longer is it about savings souls, but it is about building up the number of parishioners.
