Almost left out Pope in the subject header, shame on me!
The smartest Pope wouldn't you say so?
-
In a way, yes. Benedict was the smartest of the conciliar newpopes, because, while thoroughly a modernist, he kept some outward appearances of tradition, wore fancy vestments and “freed” the traditional Mass which kept and continues to keep many souls trapped in the conciliar Church.
Smartest, but no less dangerous than any of the other conciliar popes.

Benedict 16 was a cunning deceiver, which made him more dangerous than Francis. By his play acting the traditional/conservative he was able to confuse many simple souls, whereas those simple souls are not so easily deceived by Francis who is so “inyaface”.
Here is a list of some of the Heresies of Anti-Pope Benedict XVI

Am I a Newbie!!
I posted on the wrong section. I thought I got banned from Cathinfo with this one without stating anything.
B16 was smart because he got all the conservative trads in the ED to praise a motu proprio that promoted subjectivism, the sheep in the sspx fell for it too
