A number of young women but very few young men seems to be the story at nearly every chapel I’ve ever attended.  It seems to end in marriages to non-Catholics or single women too old for marriage, or at least too old for having babies.  Young people reach age 18 or 21 and see no future for themselves in the Church, so they leave. Many women care for their parents, but not all parents need care when a woman is young. No woman wants to end up single, on her own, with no means of support, so she goes to college for a career.  She often loses her desire for marriage and motherhood to liberal feminism and ultimately loses her faith and her soul.
