    Easter Sunday with Fr. Pfeiffer!

The conference (not the sermon -- but the sermon is very good):

Minute 50+ addresses the new seminary in Virginia:  Building up the SSPX without first having the financial support is basically setting up to bankrupt the Society.

Then there's another factor - when you're dying you are likely to join the health club, just to have the feeling that you're healthy, but you're really dying anyway.

2013 is the year that has had the lowest applications for seminary in many years, for they only had 10 seminarians.  The new priests coming out of SSPX seminaries don't know what they're about.  They're good men, but they're lacking something important in their formation.  They don't have a fighting spirit.

    56:+
ABL said "we refuse all the reforms that comes from Vat.II."  That simplifies things.  But that's not the approach of the Newsociety, for they're saying they have to wait and see what the new hybrid Mass is like before they can make any judgment.

How about this:  "If it's from Vat.II, forget it."  There is a spirit behind Vat.II, and it's an evil spirit.

[  I wish Fr. Pfeiffer would say, it's an unclean spirit of Vat.II.  He's talking about that but I haven't heard him say that yet.  Maybe one of these days.  ]

He says, in answer to a question, the Council is 95% poison and it's only that 5% that isn't dangerous.  So throw it all out!

    104:+
The airport wouldn't be so popular if they said, "You might make it to your destination."  They'd be more honest, but they wouldn't sell tickets.

You're seeing a difference in the younger priests coming out of the SSPX - they're not fighting priests anymore.  Bishop Williamson formed fighting priests, Fr. LeRoux forms "holy" or "spiritual" priests.  The trouble is, you can't really be holy unless you're fighting.

    1:11+
It's like sports, when some coaches can't explain how they generate a winning team, but they just do it.  They just know when to put another player in or when to use a different play.

One element that is very much missing right now, is that Fr. doesn't really care right now.  It's like us vs. them;  this is mine, that's yours.  This breeds a revolution.

    1:16+
Fr. Pfluger says there's going to be a deal with Rome, that the Society needs to share its Tradition with Rome, etc., all the secondary signs are there -- if there is a deal this year, is there going to be a reaction?

The audience doesn't think so:  the pew-sitters have been conditioned to thinking that a 'deal' with modernist Rome would be a good thing.  Fr. doesn't think there will be any reaction, either.

    1:25+
NovusOrdo priests are scandalized, because the Society was the parachute, but now, the parachute is gone.  Even though they hated the SSPX, it used to be a stabilizing force.  It's like the protestants, after Vat.II, don't have any differences anymore.  The Baptists and the pentecostals used to hate the Anglicans and the Presbyterians used to hate the Episcopalians, but now that the Catholic Church is gone, they don't know what they are anymore.  So too, the Indult communities and the Ecclesia Dei groups are lost, because the SSPX isn't there anymore, so they don't know what they're about.

    1:30+
Fr. De Caqueray is genuinely confused what to do.  Many people are looking to him, but once he's removed from District Superior, very few will follow him.  If he had stood up to B. Fellay, he could have stopped Menzingen in their tracks, but he didn't do it.

    1:33+
Our Lord said it will be like in the days of Noah -- there was plenty of drugs, sex, rock 'n roll in the days of Noah, but there weren't any saints.  The world was wicked.  Now too, the world is wicked.  We need to have a little more confidence in grace, now, in this wicked world.

    1:27+
When those in charge of elderly people know in advance when someone is going to die, that's because they're killing them.  So many times, the patient dies while the family's in the waiting room watching TV.  They don't want to see 'em die.  So the staff sees they're all in the waiting room, and then a staff member comes out and tells them, "He's passed now."  And they go in there and sure enough, he's dead.  That's the world now.

The "death watch" is everyone watching TV, while the patient dies alone.
