Regarding the date of this excellent sermon on Our Divine Master, the correct date is
June 29th, 2014. This URL at the Mt. Carmel website is also containing the erroneous date of July 6th:
http://www.mediafire.com/listen/abrqpbjmt6na51d/Fr._D_Hewko,_7-6-14,_Divinity_of_Our_Divine_Master.mp3While you might not thinik this would be a sermon, since it's so long (there is no clarification in the title), nonetheless, since he visits some places only very rarely, and there is a lot of travel time between venues, sometimes he preaches for over 50 minutes like this. You get the impression he could go on all day!
In this case, at 3:45, after reading the Epistle and Gospel for this Sunday (June 29th, '14) - (you can hear the sound of people sitting down), he wishes everyone a happy Feast Day for the great feast of St. Peter and St. Paul. Then, he makes some borderline announcements that for most priests might constitute a sermon, but for the formidable missionary Fr. David Hewko, it's just the normal announcements you might expect mixed with admonitions of morality and faith which are so sorely missing in our modern world.
Fr. Hewko is obviously a tremendous blessing for our modern world and it is IMHO a conspicuous blessing of God that he is able to travel and see so many hundreds of people all over the world who are starving for solid doctrine and sound teaching.
He says at minute 9 or 10, that ABL used to expel sedevacantists, saying "I do not want priests in the Society who do not pray for the Pope. We are not sedevacantists." The Archbishop always had that Catholic sense to say,
"I do not have the authority to say he's not the Pope." And he was an ARCHBISHOP. So today, where is a sedevacantist who has more authority than ABL had?
The new Catechism on Sedevacantism from Avrille, they show there are 160 positions you can hold that are sedevacantist.
At minute 17 he mentions that the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul this year is also the 12th anniversary of the death of Fr. John of the Cross at the monastery in Silver City, who was a fervent supporter of ABL. He is buried at St. Mary's Kansas. Fr. says he knew him well, and he would have gone down to Brazil to be with Fr. Thomas Aquinas (Don Tomas Aquino).
At 23:30 he announces the Sign of the Cross to begin his sermon proper, which is actually a PRAYER, which is why it begins and ends with the Sign of the Cross. The priest's sermon is supposed to draw the hearts of the faithful to contact with the Divine through a deeper contemplation of God's mysteries.
This sermon on Our Divine Master has some of the best content for our times of any such sermon that I have heard. It really ought to be transcribed.
So this is the sermon for Sunday June 29th, not July 6th (a week later).
To avoid confusion, however both dates ought to be in the title like this:
Sermon given Sunday June 29th, 2014, but erroneously indexed as July 6th.*

Here is another great track from Fr. Hewko - catechism on the Christeros II.
