Yesterday, MyrnaM started
this thread in General Discussion.
The thread title, as you can see by hovering your PC mouse over
the link, above, and reading the little text box that appears (if you're
using XP, like I, then the text box appears in the lower-left corner of
your video screen), is:
"Today at Mass we had a sermon on..." Therefore, since nobody in the history of the world would ever be
able to GUESS what that sermon would be about, I have made
this OP in Resistance Sermons linking the discussion thread, and
I have diligently repaired the title, which see.
(It now says, "SERMON
ON HELL.") In case it isn't obvious, now anyone with two
eyes that work, can read, and has an operable computer can see
that this thread is about a sermon on hell, whereas anyone, unless
he has some kind of psychic powers, might be unable to know that
MyrnaM's thread is regarding a sermon about hell.
We do not have any transcript or even an audio recording of the
sermon, apparently (if anyone has one I hope they'll post it!), but
we do have a nice discussion of the topic in the linked thread.
I do sincerely hope that it becomes a thread that is well-read and
gets a lot of posts, because it is really an important subject, and,
it is INHERENTLY KEY to any and all Resistance Sermons, inasmuch
as the teaching of the Church on hell is at the foundation of what
Resistance sermons are all about -- the traditional doctrine of Holy
Mother Church -- INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO the newfangled
agenda of the ExSPX and the Menzingen-denizens.
In the long run, these miscreants in Menzingen will fade into the
past -- as our collective memory of so many of history's characters
has, already. And ironically, IF the ExSPX somehow fails to obtain
any 'deal' with modernist Rome, THEN, HEBF will have wasted all
these years, all those globetrotting sojourns and frequent flyer miles,
and all those hours of PR and sappy, boring sermons on a chimera,
a mirage, a silly Quixotic windmill chase. For failing to make a 'deal'
with modernist Rome will have the effect of making the tenure of
HEBF into a rather embarrassing waste of that agenda of a lifetime.
Since this is the case, it can only follow, that there are two
possibilities: Either HEBF converts, and abjures his error, and returns
the Society to the proper track on which it was set by her founder,
ABL (which HEBF could also do by simply resigning, provided that
someone more capable takes his place, and not someone inept such
as he or his immediate predecessor Fr. S. have been), OR, he
continues on the present course -- and, unfortunately, the latter has
the greater likelihood at this point.
If he continues on the present course, he will either succeed in his
degenerate aims or he will fail. But whether he succeeds or fails,
he will lose in history, because nothing good can come of it. If he
succeeds, the Society will be destroyed and that will be a disgrace,
and if he fails, the Society might survive but will have the blight of
HEBF's infamous and tyrannical lunge at the false craving for some
kind of strange notoriety.
Maybe it is becoming the toast of Freemasons that he so much desires?
