Hi Neil,
Just tried the conference of Bp Williamson and found that it works good on windows 7, but it it took a minute to load up.
Also tried on other PCs with XP and Vista os and those did not work. :scratchchin:
God Bless.
Now, a few days later, your 3-in-1 video is working again, but like you
say it takes a couple of minutes to load. Previously, it did not load for
a half hour, so I gave up on it. Some kind of glitch or whatever. So
anyone who has this problem can still view the content using the 3
separate videos approach.
This is an enormous load of material. Anyone transcribing it will end
up with about 60 pages of text. Running off one copy at an Internet
cafe will cost you at least $20, maybe more.
We are running into an archive of quickly growing size. And this is just
one bishop and several priests. Imagine if the Resistance starts to
grow in size?
At minute 33, after a good introduction, H.E. passes out copies of
EXCERPTS of the Letter of "the Three to the One" a year ago, and then
proceeds to read through it, and MORE than makes up for what is
missing, by expanding on it all.
Later on, he says that if you read this Excerpts version and are find
yourself wanting more in-depth coverage, "go on the Internet" where
you can find the full version - he could have said "CathInfo" because
it is right here. Why didn't he say CathInfo??? No, I really don't know.
Maybe he's unwilling to take on the ADDITIONAL firey darts from the
opposition if he mentions the NAME that is '+F(orbidden)!'
At minute 1:16:00ff he reads words that he explains were the words of
Bishop de Galarreta at the time -- with emphasis: he does not
specifically touch on the fact that BdG has expressed now his "regret"
for "having signed" the letter. But here we are given +W's assurance
that some of the most important words in it were HIS OWN WORDS.
And now he "regrets signing" it. This alone is an example of the
danger of this PERNICIOUS SLIDE that the Society is in the middle of
engaging in, willingly.

Perhaps if the 3 had replied after +Fellay replied, and there had been
a SPLIT before the General Chapter, then it may have been better, he
says, because then there would have been clarity. What has resulted
is AMBIGUITY in the form of 'grey areas' where no one is sure where
the Society is going. Is there going to be a 'deal' with modernist
Rome, or not? Some say the 'deal' is 'off the table' and others say the
'negotiations' are still moving forward, only not openly.
Marble halls and purple buttons!
Those are not among the marks of the Church! One, Holy, Catholic
and Apostolic ARE. I would have gotten that wrong in catechism class
in 1963, but now? Probably a GOLD STAR!
If you are interested in the core of this topic, you could just jump in
here in this part, and save yourself the first hour - if your time is a bit
more restricted. Not all of us have over 3 hours to enjoy a study like
this. It's not entertainment. It requires active listening. This is not a
Cecil B. DeMille extravaganza. It has cerebral content and one
camera angle.
