Of course it goes without saying that young men would behave this way if they could, but women once served as the gatekeepers to sex. "Liberated," matriarchal women shower attention on the bad boys but still serve as gatekeepers in the sense that they ignore and despise responsible men who show old-fashioned respect for women. Matriarchy satiates criminal bad boys while law-abiding nice guys are left involuntarily celibate. It does not take too long before the nice guys figure out that they need to become criminals so that they too can have access to the matriarchal women.

Patriarchy is absolutely required for civilization to triumph over anarchy. BTW, why would you make such a rabidly feminist post on this traditional Catholic forum?

What rabidly uncharitable remarks! It beggars belief to think that this must be a Catholic Christian even Traditional Catholic Christian ... it really beggars belief and it smacks of the most uncharitable series of comments made!

What you need is to perhaps listen to Bishop Williamson again who might be able to put you right. There are remain who are matriarchal, who sleep around, most of the time they are looking for a MAN, but the man takes advantage and like Bishop Wiliamson said the men are dishrags and the women are still looking!

May we suggest, in all charity, that you find Bishop Williamson and let him put you right!

Sometimes the harsh truth can appear uncharitable. My point is that matriarchy destroys civilization because "liberated," matriarchal women in their young fertile years have a preference for criminal bad boys over responsible marriage-minded men. This creates destructive incentives for men. Have you not observed this trend?

The criminal men could not take advantage if matriarchal women were not gluttons for punishment. Such behavior is inherent to liberated women. That is why fathers must closely guard their daughters until safely married to a responsible man, enrolled in a convent, or demonstrating a truly exceptional capacity for responsible independence. (The last condition is arguable.)

Any woman that has become "liberated" is and is subsequently married is statistically likely to crucify her husband in divorce court. All marriage-minded single men should avoid such women like the plague.

I actually have a theory about this. Trad men love to rant and rail against the "modern woman." But what is, exactly, this thing called "modern woman?" Essentially, she's a whore. Does the conference implicitly hold that? If so, it is likely an oversight made in haste to resist the juggernaut that has so damaged the institution of Christian family. Certainly there has always been a role for the unmarried in the Church.

It may well be a punishment but the cause is not philandering. The cause is the betrayal of Catholic men by their leaders and their women, and the families of their women.

The polite fiction that most Catholic women and their families really care more about chastity and marriage than they do about the flattery of the world and social status is the main problem.
